  1. When you have a moment could you take a picture?
  2. Seeing how the military version was required to have an external safety probably not much if any. Also, most personnel are not issued side arms. Rifles only for the majority of grunts.
  3. Sure. It does not mean that others are not.
  4. Not slacking on resetting does not mean that someone is not making a concerted effort to reserve as much energy as possible. Staying in shade when not resetting, minimizing steps etc. I completely agree we could all probably do more to be in better shape to be fresher for any given match, but regardless of your current fitness level it is wise to maintain as much energy as possible for any given match.
  5. You can see interesting behavior on Super Squads in regards to reset at National Events if you pay attention.
  6. I find as long as I am a Nazi about my Hydration and electrolytes I tend to do well at the end of the day. If this slips I find my performance takes a big hit at the end of the day for those 10-12 stage days. I also try to mind how much extra movement I do early in the day for any Level II and up match.
  7. It is crazy how many steps you can get in a normal local match, not to mention what you get in a day where you shoot 10-12 stages. Like you said a win for certain.
  8. I would be sending this gun back to Sig. Something is way off base seeing that brass. Never seen anything like that out of my Sigs. Yes the barrel is unsupported and I will get an occasional slight bulge similar to Glock bulge but nothing like that. I have also not had this sort of failure in any of my Sigs, but have seen it happen. It has been indicated to me that Sig may have made a change to the barrel where this 45 degree taper indicated by the red arrow has been removed giving the chamber a bit more support. Will this prevent any more ruptures that remains to be seen. I have yet to see this in any of these types of failures with the Barstow or KKM barrels.
  9. Typically I found a grain of powder has found its way into the gage that causes most case gage failures. As long as you are loading your ammo correctly with properly prepped brass.
  10. Choose the "Lock In Mode", and select the desired brightness for the conditions you are in. Most will set it as low as they can so the dot does not become a distraction. I sweep the gun back in forth in the bay as a part of my Make ready routine to make sure the dot is bright enough or when the sun is at your back will not wash out. Just leave the dot on all of the time and replace it annually. This keeps button manipulations to a minimum.
  11. I think it would be wise to use the Brakleen that does not have Chlorine in it. There are two versions. One that has Chlorine and one that does not. The Green can or jug.
  12. What @RJH said. To be honest you most likely would have better luck with 2 Gun matches allowing PCCs. 3 Gun matches typically have shots part 200 yds. Not ideal for PCCs. 2 Gun matches tend to be 150 yds and in. PCC is a viable gun in that situation.
  13. Professional? At what exactly? Qualifying with a firearm once a year does not designate you as a Professional. I am sorry but with the exception of LEO that play in shooting games, or for the rare ones that actually practice regularly (which seems to be extremely rare) LEO are some of the most unsafe people I have been around in regards to firearms.
  14. The amount of territory that ejector system eats up is a lot.
  15. I love both Lucas Gun Cleaner and CLP in the spare can. The Gun Cleaner, which seems to be similar to electrical contact cleaning solvent is perfect for striker channels and tough grit. I probably would be careful on certain finishes with that one, but I have yet to have it destroy anything. It drys clean and leaves zero residue. I absolutely love the Lucas CLP in the spray can. Cleans really well and lubricates parts as well. Leaves a slick residue which makes future cleanings very easy.
  16. I am not sure exactly. I can play with it in the next week to see if the Barrel is truly locking that up so tight by switching to the original stock barrel. I have put about 500 rounds through the gun, without any issue. I still want to play around with the aftermarket 14# 1911 spring. I have not taped operation of the gun as of yet, to tune it perfectly, but its pretty close if not there as currently constructed. I have noticed with my Compact and Carry versions of the P320 platform that I do not see as much deflection in the Barrel/Slide assembly when pulling the trigger as I see in the 5" P320s. The groups on those guns are also better with comparable ammo. I imagine barrel/slide length being longer is a component of that deflection we see, but to what degree I have no idea. The current AXG Pro with the TSA trigger, Barstow barrel, Tungsten Guide Rod with Brass Lok Grips is by far my favorite P320 Variant I have shot to date.
  17. Not sure if it is the combo, of the Shorter Barrel/slide of the AXG Pro, the Barstow barrel, and/or the trigger. I am using the AXG Pro with the Gunsmith fit Barstow Barrel, the TSA drop in trigger and I have zero slide movement when dry firing without the mag. I was shocked as I have observed slide movement will every P320 I own.
  18. I installed the updated firing pin this weekend. While I performed the switch I thought I would add this to the thread for people to be able to identify the difference between the original and updated firing pins. The updated firing pin is on the Left, and the original firing pin is on the one on the Right. Definitely different in design. In the paperwork included with the updated firing pin mentioned more reliable ignition of ammo and durability were the reasons for the change.
  19. I would also like to to how this was done. Max said the toggle springs interfered. Page 5.
