  1. ecouspsa.com Is where you need to go to find USPSA club locations and dates for matches. There are a ton of clubs up and down the front range. Many of us have to drive an hour or possibly a bit more to get to most matches. You will be closer to the ones down south as mentioned above. Good luck.
  2. Did you clean your sizing die too? If your crimp die needed to be cleaned I assume your sizing die needs to be cleaned as well. They should all be cleaned between 5K-10K depending on what is going on. I tend to clean my press closer to the 5k than the 10k range.
  3. It will blow your mind how much smoother your press runs.
  4. Are you using case lube? If not, this would most likely be the issue. Yes, Die manufacturers indicate that you can load without lube. Lube saves wear on all of your equipment (especially dies) and it also creates a much smoother loading process in all aspects.
  5. There is no way to measure Vitamin D levels other than blood work to my knowledge. Taking 10,000 IUs a day is really a no brainer to maintain proper levels. Once you are on a dosage use the blood work to tweak your supplementation. Every year you should get a physical where you should be looking at a variety of factors and Vitamin D is one of the priorities. If you find yourself constantly sick, most likely you have low Vitamin D levels. Now that I have my Vitamin D levels correct I rarely get ill. My elevated Vitamin D levels also helped fight off COVID. It seemed like a mild flue.
  6. No, sorry I meant to say starting with a shotgun that is not fully loaded does not make sense to me. Making the shotgun start position with the shotgun fully loaded and minimizing rounds used during a given stage means more shooting and less of a loading race.
  7. I do not have what I would consider to be small hands, and I have to break my grip on every pistol platform I have for reloads. The more important part of the grip on the pistol is having enough real-estate for a proper grip to be obtained. Understand as you make the grip shrink so does the real-estate to grip the gun. Recoil control is far more important than being able to reach the mag release without breaking your grip. Dry fire can make you reloads while breaking the your grip a non issue.
  8. I can see this for sure. I never understood the reason for starting with a fully loaded Shot gun as well regardless of the division. Make some tweaks it might resurrect the sport a bit.
  9. The 21 round mags I assume. Not all of the mags pass automatically. The most efficient way to fix the is smash the groves that fit into the base pad slightly. Many have had luck doing this. The other way is to file or sand the rear part of the feed lips ever so slightly. The ones that fail barely fail, so the mags do not need much work to pass. If you use a file make sure it is a really fine file. Do not remove more material than you need to.
  10. Make sure your mags pass a gage before you start shooting.
  11. It will happen if you do not keep them clean. Just make it part of you press maintenance cycle. Since I have started cleaning the dies at that interval, I have not had any die issues.
  12. It is pretty good, but it does not get turned around fast from the people on the forum turning them in for warranty.
  13. Buttons do wear out. Why accelerate that when you can easily get by on one battery/year? Just change them out once a year. The SRO would be the only dot I would use if this was not an issue.
  14. The Dillon crimp die is easy to clean. Just remove that clip the internals should fall out and run the caliber (for that die) bore snake back and forth a few times. I also run a rag with a little CLP through there as well.
  15. Also look at your de-capped primers. Is the sizing die punching through the primer and the clunk is the primer sliding of the decaping pin?
  16. How many rounds since you last cleaned/maintained your press? Are you cleaning your dies? If you do not clean your dies, it can create sticky dies. I make cleaning my dies part of the maintenance cycle of the press (break down and lubing of the press). I just take the tops off of the dies and run a bore snake through the dies. Something else to note the clunk can be a combination of things. From the two videos you might have something going on in both your de-capping die and your crimping die.
  17. I do not think the LnL has enough stations to fix it using dies. On the Dillon 1050 and/or 1100 you have the ability to add an expander die above the swaging station. This slightly expands the mouth of the case before it reaches the powder funnel. This die has been discussed in other threads. If you perform two passes for pistol brass in your LnL, 1st pass to process and the second pass to load, you could expand the mouth when processing during the first pass. Otherwise the only other thing I could think you could do is polish for powder funnel.
  18. I have had 4-5 different variants of the P320. Preference order is the following. 1. Sig P320 AXG Pro 2. Sig P320 Compact A carry gun (I will be putting the AXG module onto my compact in the near future) 3. Sig P320 Legion Max 4. Sig P320 X5 Legion 5. Any other uncompensated P320 (As I do not feel there is much difference or are any better than the above mentioned ones) Note: I have not shot any of the P320s that have the new compensated system Sig has designed. I find the AXG (Aluminum X Grip) module the better grip compared to any of the P320 grips. Better than any TXG modules, or plastic grip modules including the Wilson Grip Module. The AXG Module allows you to switch out the grip panels to a variety of different grip panels and is by far the most comfortable grip in its stock form (Stock grip panels). Lok Grips brass grip panels are great for competition sports like USPSA. I also find the shorter barrels more accurate in the P320 platform. A theory I have and not every one agrees with is that I believe this is due to slide barrel lock is tighter on the shorter systems. The longer slide/barrel assembly leans to a more sloppy lock up/ more deflection when pulling the trigger. People have figured out how to adjust the slide rails on the FCU to tighten up this lock up. There is more information in other threads about this adjustment. I have not played with this in that my guns are more than accurate enough for the games I play in. I also think there is something to 9mm guns designed around the 4.6 to 4.7 inch barrel length. I cannot tell you why but I prefer 9mm guns with that barrel length. Not sure if it slide speed, the ability of the gun's return to zero, overall performance of the gun, but the guns just seem better at that barrel length. As I said above this option is my second favorite gun. I believe the AXG Module is considered a compact size, but it my preferred module. I do not think you are loosing anything with the shorter slide/barrel but maybe a little velocity. You definitely will NOT be sacrificing accuracy due to barrel size. Note that in most competition settings the comp would put you into open. But if you are just competing for fun, that would not matter much. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
  19. Just trying to maintain 1 style of grip pressure is hard enough, without reverting to a sub optimal grip i.e. bad habits. I cannot imagine trying to adjust grips strength between platforms. Hence the reason I bought the second gun exactly the same as the first.
  20. ^^^^This^^^ I do not think the LO being completely populated by only high end 2011s will be a thing. I think a lot of people will be in that mid tier market and play with those guns. Hop them up as the can afford to. That's why I cannot see how anyone sees LO as a dumb idea. See how it plays out and then make decisions from there. I was looking at the CO nationals squading today, and its crazy how full that thing is. I can see why they did not mess with that division. I am curious to how many are actually on the wait list. More than a few people in our section are already talking about playing in LO with Striker Fired guns, DA/SA guns and of course 2011 SA guns as well. It will be interesting where it goes.
  21. Funny how we did what people wanted which was put LO to a vote and those same people are still bitching and whining that LO does not include Major. Comical.
  22. I am by no means out of chill mode. Just pointing out facts. So you have tested every optic available and know if it can handle Major PF as a slide ride optic? I am going to guess you have not. Different optics had/have different issues. I imagine there will be a mix of dots that can't handle it and some that can. We just do not know. That has been my point the whole time. Someone claims that their optics never failed then tells us how he had to send some back for warranty work. Not a very convincing argument. Just like you cannot say that all optics will handle major PF in a slide ride application. Rumor has it that SRO's fail faster on Shadow 2 pistols. Is that really the case? Is it something that is over blown? Is it something that is real? We have no idea. Let's say Shadow 2s do destroy SROs. Does this mean that SROs would not be adversely affected in Major PF applications? Yes people have had SROs that have lasted 100k rounds. There are also people that have had them fail after 200 rounds. How do we know when a dot fails in a Major PF application was it due to the application of the optic or was it just a roll of the dice? Like I said NO ONE knows for certain. I doubt we will ever really know unless someone funded one ridiculously expensive test. Anyone claiming to know is speculating much like this whole discussion is. A bunch of speculation.
  23. Is it? Or does Sig know that certified ammo can be 10 PF off of 125 to pass at chrono. Maybe they are the smart ones in they figured out a way for their sponsored shooters to use sub minor ammo? Maybe they are just exploiting what seems to be a ridiculous rule.
  24. I think PCSL is a work in progress. It is by no means a finished product. I think we need to give it time.
