  1. We use gorilla tape. It's strong as hell, but will require effort to get it off the floor afterwards. Also pretty expensive.
  2. It's wild people are willing to wait a year for a cam lever. They're $5 on Amazon. Lol
  3. My pic rail is tapped. Doesn’t seem to be an issue
  4. Can’t you just tap the frame and put in a threaded barrel? Will the chamber handle 9 major?
  5. I asked a GM that's been shooting uspsa for almost as long as I've been alive, what happened to all the more physical props that stages used to have. He told me all the guys that used to enjoy them got old. Lol
  6. What's sticking with the mrh? I know the cheely grip is a bit different and takes slight modification of the holster to work well.
  7. I've seen a good bit of them, maybe once per match. They do help to change things up, I think. The main thing I've learned since designing stages is that people will complain no matter what you do. Lol
  8. Well s#!t. It looks like it is a mag issue. They run fine with oem glock mags. The TTI pads cause the issue throughout. I sanded the connection point and followers and load to 1.12. im not sure why round nose dont have this issue. I guess i could try the TF extensions?
  9. im using a 70. My ejection is great, so i dont think that is the issue. It even happens when releasing the bolt to load.
  10. Ive tried as short as 1.0 and long as 1.125. Im using the same oal as my BMB coated bullets that feed great. Its seems like the flat bit of the JHP is getting snagged or something? My coated projectiles have a round, pointy nose.
  11. Anyone else have issues with jhp? Im using PD 115 v2 and they will not feed for anything. They consistantly end up stovepiping instead of chambering. Have to remove the mag and rack to clear it.
  12. I've been thinking about some tuning methods for the rdb. I really doubt any of it matters in the end, but it's been fun to theorize. The way the system operates, the locking peice dictates how much initial force is required to drive the bolt assembly backward. The buffer spring/weight can add to this, but has the drawback of also causing additional force be created when it pushes forward back into battery. For example, a 70 degree lock with a heavy buffer spring would produce more felt recoil than a 60 degree with a very light buffer spring? Is that correct? I know max tested all of these and preferred the former, I was just curious on why that would be the case.
  13. That's a bad lever, not a redi catch. I'm surprised that fits though. The clearance on the bolt release is very tight. It's help in place by a little E-Clip. It should just pop off with a bit of a tug. (The round part in this listing) https://www.jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JP5-MK
  14. What else does the org spend money on? A magazine? They sure as s#!t don't help at a local level.
  15. Even if it did, it accomplishes nothing. Now matches are point factor. What a waste of time.
  16. Even if they had the best intentions, the optics of this is hilariously bad.
  17. Is there anything similar to a bad lever/ redi catch that works with the jp ambi bolt release? https://www.redi-mag.com/product/redi-catch/ I'm new to PCC and it feels so awkward to lock the bolt bag to make ready/show clear.
  18. The only way prod sees any interest, is if it becomes carry irons. That or leave it alone and just stack it with revolver and all the other divisions no one shoots
  19. The new holosun aems max looks like a gameboy mounted to the pic rail
  20. What? Theres nothing on the JP site that mentions a pro package kit to drop trigger weight.
  21. i helped start a club a few years ago. It blew my mind how little USPSA does to help. theres no guide or templates for anything. imagine opening a mcdonalds franchise and all they give you to get started is the menu
  22. I never really cared either way, but to see them bickering for hours over petty things really put a bad taste in my mouth.
  23. Mine came with the modular trigger. yeah i dont mind it. It seems like the trigger weight is the same on both. I hear the sd3g has a very positive reset, but that seems lile the only difference from what ive read oh just saw your <2lb post. That is pretty light
  24. Hows does the modular jp trigger compare to a sd3g? My jp trigger is crisp at 3lbs with a short reset, but i am used to lighter open gun triggers. i havent felt the sd3g, but is there actually much difference or is it a wash?
