  1. Actually its no different than the moisture wicking shirts and sunsleeves people wear. Its an excellent way to cover against the sun but still be both flexile and good from moisture wicking. I like my giant man purse pockets (as the wife calls them) on my shorts though.
  2. This hits really close to home! A quick google search pulls up multiple leggings with belt loops. Frankly I've seen more women shooters with some variant of leggings then anything else.
  3. Interesting. We played it in two clubs where the right foot matters in this scenario. The left foot would not have engendered a penalty.
  4. We are playing it that at least one foot needs to be touching or within the fault line distance. To be clear neither foot can be across the line. It appears to be working just fine. Additionally, so far I've not noticed the new tac reload (drop with one in the chamber)to be situationally much different-aka it hasn't really been a factor yet.
  5. Sounds like you're at APSC. As a nonMD I must say its a good setup up plan. It does require multiple trailers and volunteers, but it works in getting things going.
  6. Yes, how the fault lines no longer extend. Yes that is how we read it, that the fault line ended where the stick ended. It wasn't a big deal, it just closed off some options.
  7. We had a standards stage, with the remainder 17 or 18 rounds. I could see it being different with 15-16 round stages. The new fault line and app. carry were more of an issue. I became more comfortable SOing an App carry (but he took the holster out, not holstering "into" himself).
  8. Having shot SSP with the 15 round count difference, the only thing I really noticed was that loading my mags takes more effort. Reloads were still required on all the stages. Round counting was still required, etc. Didn't really notice a difference.
  9. How is that different than Open? Frankly, to a production shooter, CO looks like Open, just at a lower price point using advances in technology. Our department has permitted CO as an approved option for several years now. One can put CO on both large competition guns, and tiny carry guns. Its not the future, its the present.
  10. Indeed. In the last local match, there were two Production shooters (including me); 25 COs; 18 Open; 11 Limited; and 8 people who brought a carbine to a pistol match. technology has improved, allowing worthwhile CO. Match winner ran a CO...
  11. How are they the same division? ESP permits a heavier, full size pistol with magwell and exterior trigger work yes?
  12. We just blatantly steal their stages.
  13. Run it as an outlaw match or just have that as a nonregulation stage. If its a local it doesn't really matter. If its a major match they ignore rules all the time anyway...
  14. That is effectively what they did, permitting sweeping until out of holster, to facilitate appendix start.
  15. Rules have been clarified specifically permitting re-engagement of targets, no movement required, and that you can drop your mags on the table if you stay at the table are welcome. Additionally clarification that tac reloads can drop into your shoot me first pocket. 15 round is good I guess. I am a simple person and like that its in line with Production. As an SO, someone needs to show me the proper way to holster an Appendix Carry as I am not familiar with it. The only time I saw one was an outlaw type match with a girl, which was actually a bit awkward for grandpa me as she didn't have a Tshirt underneath.
  16. Part of the question appears to be though, will it remain that accurate? It appears that the Legions open up after some use.
  17. How'd that work. Doesn't sound like a bad idea actually if you already have them. Prescription goggles are expensive.
  18. Interesting. Not the best way to put it out there... So everything defaults to ESP. I imagine this will change once someone points out everyone and his mother has different sights (which are specifically permitted in the rule book).
  19. Facebook is irrelevant. It has to be in the rules or an express adjustment to the rules in an official capacity.
  20. I received this from the USPSA. It feels helpful. I am happily surprised that they replied within 24 hours. Very impressive. While I am not nationals material I would feel more comfortable based on this. Additionally the idea of mailing magazines in and out appears helpful if concerning.
