  1. I jusy pay attention. Never had any issues, never used one.
  2. If they were Federal SRP, Id say you will be fine, but CCI are a bit harder cup. However, Ive used only SRP CCI and Federals in all of my pistols including glocks, (with factory trigger) no issues. They run fine in every one of my 2011s also.
  3. Try 70/30 mixture of peroxide and apple cider vinegar 70%peroxide to 30% vinegar. Let it soak a few hrs and itll clean right out. Do it outside or in a well ventilated area. I clean my comps after every match, they look brand new every time.
  4. not only can it mess up your zero, you may potentially run into issues of stripped screws, depending on what type of loctite is holding them in. I have all my mount screws in with red loctite, and to get them out requires heat, so I wont mess with mounts unless it is 100% needed.
  5. Could be extraction if its a semi operated gun.
  6. I use 10.0 grn A1680 with a 220 lead projectile at 2.20 Works perfect.
  7. Make sure you buy a neck expander die to not scuff up the bullet as it gets seated. Some lead projectiles are a little to big for the case neck and you will end up with shaved lead, or a ruined case neck. I find that A1680 works best for heavy lead subs
  8. Not really. If thats all you have, go for it. You may have to reduce your charge down a bit is all.
  9. The Romeo Max 3MOA is what I run on all my optic guns. Very bright and holds up well to abuse.
  10. Did they give you a turnaround timeframe? I sent my Chaos in a while back, and it took them almost 4 months to return it to me. I did ask them to refinish it, but a tune up and refinish shouldnt have taken 4 months. I was even more irritated to find out when I called them, they had the gun and just never sent it back for like 2 weeks. Save your $$ and watch videos online. Its simple and wayyyy cheaper.
  11. Blues or PD Depending on minor or major.

    X5 is back

I went to the Sig Pro shop to buy mine and they were being sold there at $2199.

    X5 is back

I just snatched one of these X5s up the other day. It shoots as soft and flat as my 2011 9mm I use for 3 gun. This gun will have a great use in that sport, or even in 2 gun. USPSA isnt the only shooting sport out there.. However for USPSA, open is the only way to go.
  14. If you want to shoot open.. shoot open. Dont play around with welfare open (C/O). Open is an entirely different beast than C/O. You can find nice used open guns right here in the classifieds, and always know if its not for you, then there is a really good chance theres someone else just like you looking to get into it, and sell it to recover your money. But as stated above, you have to reload to make it worth it
  15. I buy the cheapest peroxide and a gallon of the store brand vinegar. maybe $4 total, and lasts a while.
  16. It does not hurt locktite. I use it on my comps all the time. Its a 70%to 30% mixture, 70%peroxide to 30% of apple cider vinegar.
  17. 70%peroxide 30% apple cider vinegar. let it soak 2 hrs, and wipe it out with a QTip
  18. Look at Cobalt Kinetics or JP for rifles. I have the Sig Tango6 3gun, but I believe it has been discontinued from their optic lineup now.
  19. Try RedHill Tactical or NERD Pistol Coffins.
  20. I just cleaned it up and oiled. See what happens I guess
  21. Has anyone had issues with rust forming inside the grip on the stainless PT?
