  1. Sometimes the primer cup gets gunked up or the spring underneath gets crap in it, and that has caused me issues before
  2. Thx for info. Itll be for a Chiappa Rhino. I use SRP in place of small pistol for 9 major, but figured it wouldnt hurt to ask about magnum.
  3. Its just an excuse to get another gun! I have 2 open major guns, 1 open minor for steel, and another I only use for 3 gun. If you can do it, go for it.
  4. With the current primer situation, Im looking to see if anyone used small rifle primers in place of small pistol magnum for .357mag? Same goes for large pistol mag and large rifle for .44 mag. Any info would be appreciated.
  5. 4.0 powerpistol with SRP loaded out to 1.160 does the trick. You can also use Autocomp in place of the powerpistol, just start around 3.5 and work up.
  6. Thats all I use. 1 primer for everything, rifle, pistol major and minor.
  7. You also may need to check the overtravel screw on the vario triggers
  8. 99% of the hammer follow issues I have had was caused by the sear spring. Center leaf needed more tension. Tweaked until it stopped.
  9. I clean after every match and re spring after every season... besides this year I forgot and had failures on the 1st match. Lesson learned.
  10. I purchased a brand newn320 AGX Equinox this Jan 2022, and I had a case rupture which blew the extractor out after 20 rds. Only minor burns, and no major damage to the gun. I had the same issue of brass being "unsupported", ended up buying a new barrel and having it throated for a longer COAL, and it has helped.
  11. I use 7.4 WAC with CCI 400 @ 1.165 gets me about 173 PF.
  12. I have had decent results with RMRs.
  13. 1 primer for everything. SRP for 9 minor, 9 major, and .233 for 3gun. Also use em for .40 cal as well. Just a convienience thing when you can find em.
  14. Blues are all I shoot out of my MPX, and JP.
  15. I use it alot under a 147 Blue for PCC, and Steel challenge open. I dont notice any issue with it. Shoots cleaner than power pistol.
  16. The powder funnel flares the case mouth a little more so the bullet doesnt flop out of the case as the shell plate is moving to tje seating position.
  17. I have had great success with my AR Gold PCC trigger.
  18. I had that same issue with Dillon seating dies with blues and other bullets. Changed the seating die and problems solved. Blues changed their profile a while back also. I asked the same question of profile change back in August.
  19. I personally have it in my rifle. I purchased a Cobalt Team rifle 2 years ago, and it came without the adjustable kit. I had cycling issues, and tryed almost everything to fix it. I called Cobalt to get help, and they explained to me my rifle should have and adjustable buffer system, which they quickly shipped me after realizing they never sent it with the gun...and the issues were solved right away with the correct weight to gas combo.
  20. https://cobaltkinetics.com/product/cobalt-kinetics-pro-buffer-system-rifle/ These are pretty nice.
  21. I have found that plain old Federal SRP are softer and will work in Glocks. Anything harder and you will have those issues.
  22. 147 Blues over 3.8 Autocomp CCI SRP @1.160 runs it smooth!
  23. Go with the Romeo Max. I swapped all of my guns to those, and they have been flawless.
