  5. Or is could be that James Austin is a really good shooter. James is a Really Good Shooter!! I was keeping an eye on him at the IRC! John
  6. Great Match, But I missed the Standards! I would like to see the timeless version of the Standards in the match next year. I think the lack of overtime penalty would make it a better stage for the newer shooters and the top shooters will still be rewarded for X hits. Thanks to all the RO's and Staff that made this year's IRC another great match. John Bagakis
  7. Rich is a class Act!!!! Way to go!!!! John
  8. My Flight was canceled Friday night! I hope to make it next year! Thanks John
  9. Happy Birthday!!! Vince!!
  10. Good Job!!! See you at the IRC!!! John
  11. With that said will the standards be scored as all other courses of fire as time used to complete, B 1 point, C 2 points, A 0 points and X's deduct from the total. Might as well just take the standards out as they will just be another course of fire with a little twist. I feel the Standards are part of the IRC, They have been there as long as I have shot the IRC. I am not a big fan of changing them. I have had the Standards help make most of my matches, but I have been hit with and over time shot and that hurts. I have always said they need to bring the over time down to 5 seconds like the rest of the penaties. But, I think this is a good fix to make the standards better for most shooters. My 2 cents!
  12. Great Match, RO's, Shooters. Thanks to all that made that such a great match, I hope to go back for the Gator Classic later this year. Big news!!!! Big change to Far and Near Standards at the IRC this Year, Ron W. announced that the par times for the Standards has been removed, so no more over time shots! This should help out a lot of shooters!!! Thanks John
  13. 1. What sports do you shoot your revolver in (USPSA, ICORE, IDPA, Steel, NRA, etc.)? 2. How often do you shoot revolver at the club level? 3. How many majors do you shoot each year (state/regional/areas)? And with a revolver? 4. Do you shoot a national championship with your revolver and if so which one(s)? 5. Would you consider crossing over to other shooting sports with your revolver? If so, which ones and why? 6. Why do you like to compete in the revolver divisions? 7. If you don't shoot revolver in matches, are you interested in giving it a try - why or why not? 1. (USPSA L-10 with 627 Rev. 625, ICORE, Steel, NRA once) 2. 2-4 times a month. 3. 10 plus. At least 6-8 with Revolver. 4. Nationals, IRC, Steel Challenge. 5. Already shoot L-10 with my 627 USPSA 6. Fun shooters and very challenging, You have to make them count when you only have 6 shots! 7. N/A How about a 6.5" 627 and 625 they would sell no problem! Thanks John Bagakis
  14. The alloy does not peen the cylinder stop notch, like the steel (Extra weight). If you shoot a lot the alloy cylinder revolver should last longer. Thanks John
