I think this is a good place to ask. I have been looking for an 6.5" 627 8-shot for some time now. S&W only made a limited run of these revolvers, they look just like the 5" 627 .38/357 they sell now just with the longer barrel. So if anyone knows of one of these 627s (or just the barrel) that might be for sale please let me know! Thanks John.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I have mostly done ICORE and the Steel Challenge in the past, but this year I started shooting USPSA. I am now classified as a Limited shooter and I have shot 4 classifiers in Production. I also stared shooting 3-Gun this year. I am going to start shooting my revolver in the USPSA, I am not sure if I will shoot in the Revolver class or Limited ten with my 8-shot. I do own a 625 so I might try and get classified in revolver.

I have a ceiner for my Glock 23, I am not very happy with it. It does not light off all ten round very offen and jams quite a bit. I have heard the Advantage Arms is the way to go.

I am also new to the forum. I have shot Bear Creek bullets through all of my Glocks (stock barrels) with no problems. In fact I have shot well over five hundred rounds (close to 1000)without cleaning the pistol, with no problems. That being said my loads are only about 125 power factor (.40). I can only speak for Bear Creek bullets, I shoot them in my revolver all the time. The Bear Creek don't seem to lead the barrels as much as other lead bullets I have used.
