  1. Good Job!! Bubber I just got my Master in Revolver!
  2. Dan Carden and I are in! I think Jerry M and Nils will be there.
  3. My Revolver is a 625 with a 25-2 6.5" barrel. I have a ti cylinder but not in the gun right now. Randy did the work on the gun it's about 4.5lbs trigger pull. My load is 230gr. Bear Creek bullet with 3.7 clays about 170 PF. John
  4. I think we are waiting on Dan Bagger to down load the video.
  5. USPSA 6.5" 625 (Model 25 6.5" barrel) ICORE 6.5" 627 .38/357 Steel Challenge 627 .38/357 (6.5" Model 27PC barrel) John Bagakis
  6. Keith you showed a lot of class hanging out and helping, tape and paint. Most guys would left and felt sorry for themselves. It was a pleasure shooting with! John
  7. I had a Randy action job and Hammer in my Revolver, It work great no problems!! John
  8. I had a great time shooting the match and meeting all the revolover shooters. What a great group of shooters, I watched the other Revolver squads and everyone looked great. Not taking anything away from the other shooters, But Jerry did not have a very good match, he had several stages that did not go well, yet he still shot a great match. I talked to Nils and he said he about five stages that did not go well, That's pretty scary! I watched serveral of Mike's stages and he was on fire, He had a great match, I think he had only one miss for the whole match. I had a pretty good match considering I started with two misses on stage (18) a high piont stage and one miss on stage (16) the highest piont stage of the match. I saw some great shooting from all the competitors, Dan and Cliff just had some stages go way bad. I am looking foward to the Gator Classic and Area 2, Dan and I will have to get our Sh#T together if we want to put some pressure on Nils and Jerry at Area 2. I hope to get Jason Pettitt out there next year. It was great meeting and shooting with everyone. Take care and see you next year! John
  9. !!!!!!! Thanks Cliff I will never use your computer again!!!!!!
  10. Hi John Bagakis here, If anyone is looking to split a room, I have a double to split at the Holiday Inn. PM me if your interested. Thanks John
  11. We were just shooting and did not keep track, I think the run before the 4.18 was in the 4.40 range. I don't remember, Dan may recall.
  12. It looks like Danbagger is turning it up a few notches!!!! I was practicing with Dan today, we were shooting the classifier (Can you count). Dan was running it in the mid to low 4's and he had a 1.47 second reload on his 4.18 second run. I think he is ready for the Nationals. This sould be and exciting Match. John
  13. I am planning on sending in my entry tomorrow, I think the Danbagger is going to go as well.
  14. Great Job Dan!!!!! I guess in need to get out of B class!
  15. I have to agree with Dan, Mike and Randy. I feel in the long run it comes down to the shooter. I guess I will put in for a rule change and see what happens. To me Limited is Iron sights and no porting, Open is anything goes. I feel all these rules are going to hurt ICORE and make it to hard for a new or cross over shooter to start shooting ICORE. WE NEED TO GET ICORE TO GROW, NOT DIE OUT BECAUSE OF TOO MANY RULES! If the die hard rules people want they should push for a production class, so they can tie a bunch of rules to the shooters there. My thoughts! John
  16. Hey Steve, can you exspand on the Limited guns that are pushing the rules? I don't recall seeing any revolvers in Limited that had other than factory barrels on them. I have been a big fan of sight radius, like the 6.5" Performance center Mod. 27 and 627. I finally got a 6.5" 627, but they are very hard to find. I would be nice if we could get S&W to start making the 6.5" 627 again. Thanks John
  17. John, I've been meaning to ask, how was this match advertised ?? Was ANY mention made as to prize distribution ?? DaveP I have looked for my enrty and can't find it, But to the best of my knowledge this match did not say one way or the other. As I recall the prize table last year they gave the Match winner a gun and left the Limited winner hanging (six guns one to the match winner and the rest by Raffle), after that I beleive it was order of finish. I have been told the IRC prize table will be done as it was last year. 1st in each class then 2nd in each class, 3rd in each, then order of finish alternating from Open to Limited.
  18. I feel your pain AzShooter, I shot the same match you are talking about with the Richmond shooters from Nor Cal. The Limited Match winner Dan Carden and Second Open Rich K. were aslo on my squad. I would like to make it clear that our whole squad shot the stages as they were intended to be shot. We did not shoot targets that have not been activated yet (cheating). I won stage 2 which was throw out and stage 8 (now stage 7) Shooting them as they were intended to be shot. I was very disappionted to find out that stage 2 was going to be thrown out because of the Gammers that took advantage of the RO's (that cost me second Limited). I don't know how the shooters that Gamed or Cheated can take pride in their finish in the match! I talked to the match director the day after the match, he told me he only had one day to set up the stages and limited help, also most of the RO's he had were new. I think they still put on a great match and did a great job. Unforchenly several shooters took advantage of the RO's an shot the stages as they were not intended to be shot (Cheating)! All this could have been avoided with better stage descriptions and better stage set-up. My thoughts, for what they are worth!
  19. I thought this would be a good place to ask for thoughts on this subject. I have mostly seen random draw or raffle for the prize tables at some Revolver matches. So which is better, Going to the prize table buy order of finish (earning your trip) or luck of the draw (Raffle)? I recently shot a major Revolver match and the two match winners (not me) did not go to the prize table first, the whole prize table was done by raffle. I think this is wrong, if we are just going to raffle off the prizes, maybe we should stop calling these matches competitions and just start playing the Lottery. I asked the match director why he did the whole prize table by raffle and he told me, He and most shooters were tired of see the same Top shooters getting the guns and just selling them. So please put in your two cents. On a side note, Randy Lee won one of the revolvers by raffle and gave it to a local shooter that need a good revolver to compete! Way to go randy!!!!! Thanks John
  20. I second that, Nelson and his staff did a great job. Congratulations to Vic and Dan, great shooting! Dan, hopefully I will be more competitive at the IRC. I would of like to see the top Open and Limited shooters get a gun from the prize table, they did win the match. I did not think it was right that Vic and Dan went to the prize table by luck of the draw. I second that, Nelson and his staff did a great job. Congratulations to Vic and Dan, great shooting! 21. Like Underlug said, there is the 627 V-comp model it has the extra weight under the barrel. As for the 8th shot it is nice to have the extra shots on an unlimited shot stage (make up shots) moving targets, and if you push to hard (misses) shooting steel.
  22. Ha Ha Todd!!! You will get yours!!! You should try and get permission from your wife to let the Cobra out of the garage, so I can race it down the drag strip! Who knows it might beat my 4900 LBS Truck, maybe!
  23. Well add me to the list! I got a slot! So I guess Dan and I will be representing the west!
  24. Hi Mike, I have been using Jerry's method. I would not consider myself a fast reloader at all. I would say during the IRC last year my reloads were around 2.75-3.25. I have been getting better but Dan Carden just kicks my but on the relaods. I have been thinking about using Dan's style reload, I think I will be more consistent. In the end go with what is most comfortable for you. Good luck!
