As you pointed out, "cheaper means you can afford to shoot more".
If the PDs provide a marginal difference in accuracy with little less powder to be used, that's definitively the way to go for me.
Just received my 100 rnd trial pack yesterday. Will try them out this weekend.
Been a MG user (38 super, bar-sto barrel ) for long time and thinking of going the Precision Delta way (124 gr - JHP).
Accuracy-wise, are the PD worth the savings?
It’s awesome when you bring a noob to a match and see him/her really enjoying themselves after being totally nervous for the first 2 stages.
Even better when they ask “when are we doing this again?”.
OK Corral in Okeechobee runs two SC matches and one Action Steel each month.
Normal schedule:
- SC (6 Stages): 3rd Sat and 4th Sun.
- Action Steel (5 Stages): 1st Sun.
For May, and due to the recent NFL Sectional, the scheduled was modified. Action Steel will be on the 3rd Sat with a SC on the 5th Sun.
I believe they will return to the normal schedule in June.
Couple of months ago, I was ROing someone (belt and mags ready to go), who upon the "Make Ready" command noticed that he had left the gun back at the house.
Yes switch rotated easily.
In any event, yesterday I sent one of them to C-More to see if the repair works, if good, the second one will follow, if not, guess I’ll need new ones.
New battery.
Main concern is that this happens to both of the Cmores which have the bodies replaced late last year.
In any event, they are headed to C-More for a switch adjustment.
I was just curious to see if someone else had this issue.
Lately I noticed that if I don't turn the brightness all the away up, the dot will fade away during a long stage. It doesn't ussually happen in short stages, but its gettting worse. I had the bodies of both C-Mores replaced late last year.
Any Idea what is causing this? (I have a standard switch)
Jadeslade,
I do not agree with your statement that "no one has even looked at these stages for real yet, not set up".
I can bet you that more than one person who attended the IPSC nationals and who will attend the US Nats, will be very familiar with the stage layout including field obstacles.
