Thanks for the info. I do have a gunsmith that has offered to cut the guide rod for me, but I was trying to see if there was something commercially available before I drive an hour to his shop.

I replaced the Recoil Master in my Brazos SX, but can't recall which guide rod was installed. The current guide rod measures 3.5". I just want to buy a spare to keep in my range bag.

No. However, you will need a Temporary Permit for the gun(s). This permit will be applied for by the event coordinator.

More than diet (although I still watch what I eat), I believe its more about going out and exercising. Currently, Im going to the gym early in the morning and after work every day. It feels good to be able to run a couple of miles without having to stop to rest. Never thought I could have done it two months ago.

Following a brief stay in the hospital and using my buddy Nemo as inspiration, I decided to get back on track. Weighted myself yesterday and found that I had lost 40 pounds since Mid-August. Don’t really want to set a goal, but will keep exercising and see improvements as they come.

As indicated, I currently use 4756, but haven't been happy with the tracking. Some of the guys suggested either 3N38 or 105, so I'll give them a try and see which feel better.
