  1. Leadstar prime. Thousands of rounds 100% malfunction free. Ready out of the box minus your optic of choice.
  2. IDPA "8.2.1.2 SSP Permitted Modifications (Inclusive list): A. Sights may be changed to another notch and post type. Slides may not be machined to accept different style sights." Once the slide is milled for an optic it is no longer SSP legal. You may shoot it in ESP USPSA 21.2b Milling of Slide A. slide may be modified specifically for installing sights, and for no other purpose.
  3. I use the MBX mini. 47 rounds. Plenty good for all USPSA matches. The followers need to be sanded so they transition smoothly or you will get a salt shaker. I also prefer to use the 31/33 glock mags for reloads on classifiers over the 17's with plus 5. By the time the 17's get seated in the pcc with a magwell it is almost flush with the magwell. A beer can grip on the 33 is much easier and faster for me.
  4. I use a MBX extension on a 31 round glock big stick for 47. Carry one 33 round glock mag as back up. If its a classifier with reload I will use a 17 rounder with a plus 5 as my primary and reload with a big stick down loaded for easier mag insertion. It is much easier to beer can a big stick for a reload than to try and shove a 17+5 in with magwell in place. By the time the mag gets locked in it is almost flush with the magwell.
  5. 10.2.2.1 Procedural penalties for failure to comply with stage procedures do not apply to the number of shots fired. Penalties for firing insufficient or additional shots are addressed in other rules and must not be penalized under the provisions of 10.2.2.
  6. I keep going back to 10.2.4 also. It just seams dang steep of a penalty.
  7. Virginia count. T1-4 engage with 2 rounds each perform mandatory reload and then 2 rounds each again. Shooter screws up his mag reloading and ends up with only 7 rounds in his first mag. Has to reload. Reloads puts the 8th shot on t-4 then continues to engage T1-4 with two rounds as required. So my under standing is he didn't perform the reload when required. That's a penalty but is it a per shot till shooter reloads again? Which penalty on the tablet is it?
  8. http://www.multibriefs.com/briefs/uspsa/USPSA122619.php Here is the link to a multi brief about a magnet being used in carry optics. Its equipment. So if you have a mag pouch in front of your hips that you use while shooting pcc and do not remove that for when you shoot any division that doesn't allow mag carriers in front of your hips, its bump to open period. Call it whatever you want, towel hanger, ear muff holder, what ever goofy name you want to try, but its welcome to open. Will anyone say anything at your club match? I dont know. They should, following all the rules at any level is important so that no one thinks something is legal goes to a tier 2 and gets there day ruined by being bumped to open or worse SNS
  9. There is no rule against wearing empty holsters. The problem is the rules as to where your magazine carriers are allowed on your belt vary by division. So if you are shooting production but use a mag carrier in front of your hip for pcc you are now not in compliance with the equipment rules when you shoot your pistol again. This is exactly like the magnet on the belt in production deal. Troy said you can have one and it has to still be behind the hip bone. In addition before the make ready command the magazine on it better be removed or it is bump to open and dont put anything back on it until range is clear or that is a bump to open.
  10. 8.3.7.3 Flagged carbines may also be cased at this time and transported off the stage in the case. These words are in the rule book. This is after the ULSC and ICHDFLag command is given. It says flagged carbines may be cased at this time. It says nothing about just bagging one without a flag. 5.2.1.4 says a chamber flag must be used at all times. It has to be visible when uncased or not in a sleeve but what it also doesn't say is that when its in a sock or sleeve that the chamber flag isn't required.
  11. 8.3.7.3 suggests that a pcc still has to be flagged to be bagged. Flagged carbines may also be cased at this time and transported off the stage in the case.
  12. Leadstar arms. Runs flawless with 5000 rounds through it.
  13. I think its a terrible match. One stage with movement and its only to run forward. The rest are stand or sit. Oh yeah we make you reload. We have 8 bays we use and now because you cant have stages before you shoot stage 1 of the postal match or stages in between our monthly match turns into the most boring IDPA match in history. Yes I know we can add stages after but we have to many people shooting to put everyone onto 4 squads. We have to set up bays 1-4 the same as 5-8. To me that's just a huge waste. All the work to set up and we will be done shooting in 3 hours. Just call it what it is. A boring IDPA match at your expense so we can decide if we want to change the way we do classifiers instead of fixing the rule book.
  14. Just buy an iron city rifle works pin. They are guaranteed for 10,000 rounds and if they break ever they replace it. So basically a lifetime guarantee. I have one and am in the process of putting rounds on it. I put 15,000 rounds on a pin yearly. The new one is on about 1500 so not that many yet but it will be.
  15. Absolutely pathetic! The cost of travel and hotels etc and that's the best they could come up with. T-shirts on more than one stage become a gimmick not a challenge. The wilsons need to step up and fix this s#!t show!
  16. Any word on the FTDR by seeklander and Leatham?
  17. That is the exact presentation of the target.
  18. I just want some collective ideas about this target set up. Imagine a target completely hard cover except the head. Then on this same target a head that was cut off from another target placed upside down in the A zone. I cant imagine that this is a legal arrangement of targets. It was scored as two separate targets. Thoughts?
  19. egd5 just to set it straight faulting a line isn't necessarily an FP. HQ has clarified that if a shooter has part of their foot on the wrong side of a fault line it is simply a PE. Stepping grossly over the fault line is an FP. Is it subjective? Of coarse. There was a video released awhile back. The FTDR is for gross un sportsman like conduct such as, ignoring all fault lines charging the targets and shooting them at point blank range. I have never seen one issued. As for shooting tight leans to the left. First you can bend your outside support leg lowering your center of gravity allowing you to lean farther out. Use a wider stance and rotate the gun counter clockwise as you lean out. Remember to keep the barrel clear of the wall as the offset can trick you and you may just end up putting rounds into the wall. You may have to crowd cover a little more than normal. As a last you can do the shoot and fall over the fault line method, Only works if you have one target to shoot or are very fast on the trigger. There is no rule that says you have to end standing behind cover just that you cant fire shots out of cover unless legally re engaging a target. I do not subscribe to the switching hands for left side targets. Its unnecessary gun handling that could get you into trouble. Dropped gun while switching hands or breaking the 180. Not impossible but it requires you to train your brain to run with the gun in your left hand now. I run much faster when I don't have to think about what my gun is doing because it is ingrained. With practice it all becomes easier.
  20. Has nothing to do with don't be a dick. Has to do with changing my mind before the beep. Every shooter is entitled to do so at will without announcing it.
  21. If I manage to run into you at the start then you are the retard for just standing there. You are the one with the timer standing behind me and know when you are going to beep it. So you should well know to get out of the way as you beep me. If I do it again on the start then its you the RO that's the a hole for not getting out of the way. Its on the RO to stay out of the shooter way not the shooter to stay out of yours. You cant hold a shooter to their word. There is no penalty. It should be obvious what way a shooter is going if its an RO trap. That in itself implies there is only one way its a trap. There is a simple solution for you. Don't run the timer. Issue solved.
  22. ZZT and what are you gonna do when I don't answer you?
  23. As a PCC shooter and RO I am against asking them what way they are going, even prior to make ready. What happens if they go the opposite way they said? Now you as the RO might be caught flat footed cos you were expecting something else. Pay attention that they didn't miss a target and decide at the end to run back to that target while you are standing there with the timer over their shoulder. As RO's we should look at a stage and look for any traps that might be present and know what we are going to do if shooter does x, y, or z. Maybe you need a second RO to watch the shooter while you set up towards the last shooting position. Yes you will miss some shots but better than being caught down range and a reshoot issued. I hold the timer up high speaker pointed towards the shooter. I can see early on if the timer is picking up shots from where I am holding the timer. Lets me know where I need to stand and stay out of the way. Nothing worse than an RO shoving a timer up in your face while you are shooting an array.
