I shoot tg with a mbx comp 3 ports all directed up, I don’t ever notice smoke while I’m shooting. I ordered a laser but it’s not in yet.

I want to try a pair of the inov-8 mudclaw 260g. does anyone know the sizing for inov-8? I’ve read some reviews say size up some say just fine, which is it?

Radian raptor is what I use in my ar15 and ar9.

Installed in rifle today, had trouble with it not extracting and double feeding. It would chamber a round the extractor would slip off the case lip. I called iron city and spoke with Jason, he said he had never heard of that but to send it in and they would fix it. (Nice guy and great service) Me being impatient and really wanting to get it to work, I opened the parts bin and tinkered. First I tried another extractor spring with the same outcome. Then I tried the extra power bcm spring it wouldn’t go over the the case lip. Next new extractor and bingo. I only hand cycled 10 rounds but all exjected and fed just fine. I will be shooting it in an outlaw match tomorrow.

Mine just arrived, initial impression is super slick after oiling and placing in the rifle.

If you watch the video above and others posted on YouTube, it’s very clear gases are coming out and being directed by the comps. How much gas? How much force is the comp applying to direct to the barrel? It varies from comp to comp, load to load. Imo mbx comps have a design that forces the gas into a large first chamber angles backward and up. I prefer mbx comps for this reason. The more gas the more the comp works, so if you’re shooting a powder puff load it won’t work as well. A comp used in conjunction with a tuned buffer, spring to a higher pf load is like the cherry on top. Don’t forget proper leveraging and mechanics of the rifle. My mbx comp prefers 140ish pf or 124gr at 1130fps

What distance did you use for zeroing the laser? what distance is your optic zeroed?

Does anyone have experience with the iron city works ar 9 bcg? I’m looking at buying a back up bcg and the pvd coating on these is interesting.

I’ve owned my 6 moa c more railway two months, it’s been in 2 3 gun matches, 4 uspsa matches and a pcc only match for a total of 7 matches 5-6 stages a match 35-42 stages. I always turn my dot on at the shooter make ready and always turn it off after unloading showing clear. I’ve dry fired total of maybe 3-4 hours. Well the battery died at the range today less than 5 hours total on it. I have had my mro in the safe for 2 two years left on, shot countless 2-3 gun matches, dry fire sessions and never turned it off or changed the battery. I’m putting the mro on my pcc.

Does anyone have experience using the ar gold 308 and mbx bolt and buffer?

What sight do you use? I’m curious if I will need a riser under my c-more.

What is the spacing on the cones?

Great video, After the 1k break in it will get even smoother. I left my bolt locked back for a month and shot hot 124s for the first 1k. I like that triangle drill I’m going to practice it.

I used a 308 jp spring with the mbx buffer and blue spring, Everglades 147gr rn plated 3.2 gr titegroup mixed brass cci primer 0 felt recoil, little dot bounce super sluggish. 144pf 985fps I switched back to the way Adrian setup it up. Sprinco yellow, mbx buffer green spring, Everglade 124gr fmj, 3.7 gr titegroup mixed brass cci primer recoil isn’t bad dot returns faster, pairs are tighter. 140 pf 1130fps

What are the factory recoil and main housing spring weights for sti dvc 3 gun?

I use the crush grips t-1-1.5-2 on my way to work and the bands on my way home. I use yellow, blue and red. Sometimes I go for reps other times I hold until it burns stretch hand and start again. I have a wrist reinforcer but I seldom use it. I have done a lot of wrist exercises with barbell Sit on bench knees in front wrist on knees, barbell in hand, palms down rotate up 10 reps, turn palms up 20 reps, stand place barbell behind back palms up 30 reps, place barbell in front reverse curl (palms down curl) 10 reps for 3 sets
