  1. I have a gen 4 d34 with a 11 pound spring that shoots great groups with most anything I put in it. But I get really good groups with a bayou 145, 2.9 grains of tight group. I was getting about 2 inch groups at 25 yards. (Benched) lol. They some other loads and see if that helps.
  2. Save your selves the hassle and head acha and just buy a Johnny glock trigger. You'll be happy. I bought my first one and now I have him working me one that's flat faced and all the goodies for my custom DCPrecision glock build.
  3. I have 20,000 on a 4.5 pound striker spring and never have a problem with light strikes and I reload all cci primers. Clean the striker channel out ever now and agent and that's about it. You could also put a lone wolf striker liner and some ghost spring cups in and polish the striker and spring to help. I've never shanked my striker spring after i put the 4.5 in. If you do reload make sure your primers are seated as deal as possible.
  4. On my dad ts I can feel the extended mag release on the bottom of my hand . Ive never had any problems just feel it. I shoot with a varry canted grip much like Bob Vogels.
  5. So I should keep a eye on leading in the barrel causing over pressuring.
  6. I'm not to worried about a glock barrel going kaboom from bumping up to a 357 diameter. I found a article erly this last year about a guy loading 160 grain 357 diameter bullets for uspsa and the pressures were with in spec. Now I know it's not the same with a 145 grain and all guns are different. He was loading tightgroup at 2.7 grains with a 1.140 over all length with a 160 grain coated lead bullets. Out of a glock 19. Thanks for the info guys. And I'm sorry for high jackin this.
  7. I was wondering about bumping up to a 357 or 358if it would help. I'll have to give Dennis a call and have him send me some 145 in a 357 diameter. How would that bigger size work in my standard guns like my glock 34?
  8. Thanks for the info. I'm running a Mr bullet feederfeeder already, so no isue there. I'll pick up a Lee u die and try it. Greatly appreciated guys.
  9. I just put my dillon together so I'm going g to play with the crimp on that. I know that my lee crimp would always want to let the bullets walk out no mater where I would set it.
  10. What do you mean by a undersized die? Can you point me in the right direction for one on dillon 650? Thank you
  11. Every one is different and all that matters is the gun returning to zero. Nice wright up.
  12. He isn't shooting a revolver in production but has a semi auto for that. My 929 does the same thing, I've had the bullet walk completely out of the brass befor. It will even do it on my reloads no mater how the crimp is set.
  13. Longer barrel is easier to make power factor. So with a 34 you could use less powder in you rounds which produces less reciol. If I remember right some of the big time glock shooters are running the 24 which is even longer then the 34 and it's a 40 cal. I could be rong, if so some one please chime in.
  14. I thought I had seen some where that glock was makeing some 140mm mags but I could be rong lol. Thanks for the clarification. ??
  15. What isues have you had with the ets? All of the ones I have have been 100 percent but they are for 9mm and not 40. Glock is now making mags in the 140mm length. I believe the glock store has them and I'm not sure on price.
  16. Ets makes a 140mm mag for 19 rounds in 40.
  17. I ran my gen 4 g34 in limited this last season and dominated my area. My glock was built to run esp in idpa but after makeing master class I switched to uspsa. Rob Leatham use to run limited minor and did great just don't hit any downs lol. FYI I'm running a 11 pound recoil spring, Johnny glock comp trigger, factory extended mag release, and volgel sights.
  18. I started shooting idpa with a 9mm and then bumped in to uspsa production. Now I shoot uspsa limited minor and have a hard time getting lower then second in my area. Not saying it would be the same in another match but it works for me. I run ets glock mages that run 140mm and I get 22 rounds in tham and they are about $21-$25 a mag.
  19. So we have alot of options for summer, but what do you use when it gets cold out? My last match it was 34 degrees out.
  20. I've put 15k trough my 34 this last summer with no isues. I run bayou bullets.
  21. There is no better way then just calling and haveing a johnny glock trigger built. You'll spend almost as much if not more trying to get that perfict trigger. And now he has flat faced triggers as well.
  22. So to answer that question he can absolutely build you one with a rolling break. I know he has built me a few as he sponcers me. The one I have now has such a light wall in it it's great, the vest of boat world's I can grab and blow through the wall like it's not there or stage it for that perfict shot.
  23. I played with a crap ton of trigger parts and the one thin I can tell you is not one will be the same. That being said it would be better to buy a custom trigger then spending the time and money on 8 million different conectors ( because we all know there is that many ). So after all the trouble and head banging I came across johnny glock, I called him up and he built me a trigger to exactly what I wanted and had it in 7 days. 2.5 pound pull, 1/16 of a inch pretravel ( to get the bar of the bar shelf) to a distinct wall, 1/8 inch (if not less) from that wall to full trigger stop, with 1/8 inch to reset that is wicked fast. 100 percent reliable with all primers and factory ammo. ( yes even with cci small rifle primer ) I use in major loads. https://johnnyglocks.com The only way I've found for the same of as close to the same from gun to gun. If you go to him tell him jimmy erickson sent you
