I have two different rigs. ok... 3.... I have Ghost pouches on one double stack, and I have a double and a single stack rig with Black Scorpion pouches. I love the scorps for single stack and could go either way on dubble stack.

Funny you should ask, as I just got a commander as I miss shooting a 1911. I just stayed up the night before last setting up my single stack rig…. (Almost) I’m planning to use 5 or 6 10 round magazines. On my 21 round 9mm wündergun rig I do 3 plus a magnetic. (One rig ghost one rig black scorpion) I don’t care for magnetic on single stack I prefer the black scorpion over the ghost and those are the only two brands I have tried. (Scorps can be adjusted fore and aft and tilted and all kinds of ways) I’m able to get the black scorpion fairly close together but I only have 3 pouches currently and just ordered 3 more. II tend to put at least 2 more on the new revised rig. pictured is my old rig and pistol Edit: just noticed it’s an old thread and the OP has probably already taken up golf….

So I am much happier with my ar10 now. If I can find another decent A1 stock I will replace the ace. The fsb mounted forward may still happen but I will pin it to the barrel when I do do it. I found a set of troy fixed sights used, and saved a few bucks, and I love the sight picture. (Hk front) I found an aac flash hider for cheap too. I recently upgraded my 300aac as well. (Left) yhm handguard, and troy sights.

Reloading the utas is a nightmare, the followers need to be pushed back each time, and if trying to top off a tube, you have to get between the last two shells, push the second to last back, then push the first back, then you can top off...

Then I'd buy a .40...

I'm starting with cz p09's for myself and my son. I havent shot the matches that have so many rules and acromyms. Just action pistol and soon 3 gun. I'm eyeballing a 2011 or even a CZ TSO when I upgrade. The pistol is the cheap part... in 9mm for me... There are a lot of silly rules, and I don't get the whole major/minor scoring, it really is antiquated thinking, and silliness.

My taccom is right on the money with roll crimp shells, and has 1/3 of a shell space with star crimp. I think I have a +5

What brand and what shotgun?

I like an A1 or an ACE, but I'm a dinosaur. My complete builds cost less than some individual components.

The Black Scorpion pouches are nice once you set them up, and they can be converted to double stack. They are a huge pain to set up initially (way too many small parts), and difficult to move from belt to belt. Amazon has some knock offs for cheap... I have the branded ones and my son uses the knockoffs. The originals have better overall fit and finish and extra parts, and a carbon fibre look, but the knock offs work just as well. Originals I had had to drill a hole in the knock offs for the adjustment... knockoffs

The 550 sucks for pistol calibers. The throw is sooooo long. The SDB is awesome for pistol. When I'm rich I'll have an SDB for each pistol caliber (9mm .38 and .45)

I'm on my 3rd match. Last weekend I rushed and scored poorly. I'm not paying attention to overall times, just score. No Mikes!

So I got a second p09 and I'm 95% sure I'm going to sell my 1911. I did a holster review for the p09, and I sold the 1911 blade tech doh holster. I changed the 3 Black Scorpion pouches for double stack, and added the magnetic pouch to the red DAA belt, and will use the Safariland GLS holster with that set up. Match tommorow morning.

My new pistol hold 21, I'd have to be nekkid to keep count.

Yeah, I think we are set for a long time. When I started the search it seems like a double stack STI or a CZ Shadow 2 is the top of the heap for pistols. At this point I know we can't outshoot our p-09's. I shot a video on holsters for the p09
