  1. Cleaned the pin and channel, but am wondering does the pin simply reinsert back into the channel, or is there an orientation? I see there is a groove in the pin at the large end almost like a keyed slot Any worries?
  2. Yep, so little recoil it even stopped my flinch, which I did not have, I don't think, lol.
  3. So I gotta ask, what do you mean by "ridiculous"?
  4. Has this been released in the USA yet?
  5. Aaaah, I get it now. Thanks. But I see a lot of name brands, for lots of items, mentioned quite often, hmmm.
  6. I'm with you, Muncie. I too, am looking for a CM with the fine checking and the thin undercut trigger guard and beaver tail, so I can use a high grip. I was at a loss, worried which variation I might get, until you said, just request pics of the actual gun for sale. Thanks for the tip.
  7. What does *thumb rest [generic]* mean? I'm confused by the wording.
  8. Armory Craft has some new CZ 75 wood grips, but I'm not sure they would fit your Shadow.
  9. IIRC, use their 75B springs for the CM.
  10. pjb45, What work did you have them do?
  11. Please explain what you mean about the trigger bow should not be cut off. I know some use a stronger Tanfo sear spring when their trigger pull is too light. I know I tried to take out as much trigger pre- travel as possible with the adjustment screw and it caused me to have the same problem with my TS as JayDee..
  12. Is your gun a Shadow 2 ?
  13. I like it a lot Just curious, how much longer is the comp than the original CZ?
  14. Just wondering, but what ever happened to the first new comp, the 1.5 oz one, mentioned in the first post?
  15. I run the buffer since one came installed in my 9mm TSO made in the summer of 2017. I was, however, surprised to see it. My 9mm TS did not come with one. I thought I would see how the TSO shot with the buffer and watch it for signs of wear. It seems to be doing fine. Got spare buffers, as well, so I thought I would use it. Softens the recoil a tad, and helps decrease slide wear, I hear. I've never shot the TSO without it.
  16. Broncman, Hope you get well soon. Do what the Doc says and you'll be fine. BTW, I know what you mean about the pain-killer injections (oxymoron) between the toes. Ouch!
  17. Atlas, I'm wondering about how you lightened the grip shown in your second pic titled, open sport.jpg, I think you drilled holes straight into the backstrap. But, please tell me how you did the front strap. Did you cut grooves, or drill holes, then shape them. I cannot really see.
  18. Hi Muncie, What causes your gun to throw brass 15 feet? Just seems a bit far. Is your TSO a 9mm? What ammo/power factor do you use? Are your cases aluminum? Your other CZs do the same? Just curious, please don't take offense.
  19. Zspeed, How do you like your new Parrot? I assume you got it already. I used to think the colors were awful, but now I want one. Not ready to buy... still just drooling, lol.
  20. The Parrot is $1200 more than the CzechMate. Why is that?
  21. The set screws in the stock plastic trigger seem to hold their position much better than those in metal triggers where many recommend loctite.
  22. I learned not to take out all the trigger over-travel. Set trig OT screw plus one half turn so the sear clears the hammer hooks. If you pull and hold the trigger and rock the hammer back and forth, the sear should not touch the hammer hooks. Otherwise sear/hammer hook DAMAGE WILL OCCUR.
