  1. I've had the stock and adaptor sitting around for almost two weeks, but didn't want to make a significant change to my shotgun days before heading to the Missouri 3 Gun Championship. Finally got it installed this weekend and I really like it. I have two spacers installed, which gives me roughly a 13.5" LOP. The ergonomics feel great and the sight lines up with my eye a lot faster. Gonna get out to the range to throw some lead this week and see how it feels overall.
  2. That's a common issue with light triggers in AR's. When zeroing you're pulling very slow and deliberately and the trigger bounces off your trigger. I've done it with my Geissele's, Hiperfire's, etc... when zeroing, but it's never happened under normal shooting conditions.
  3. I run a NERD subgun Mausoleum on an ELS fork at the 12 o'clock position on my belt. I've yet to lose one of my big sticks with TF +12 extensions while moving around a stage. https://www.weare-nerd.com/hats/magazine-mausoleum-subgun-pouch
  4. Yeah, I missed a lot on all those long range targets at MO3GC too
  5. I've had the complete opposite experience. The ETS mags don't insert well when full or drop free when more than half full, but my Glock 33rd mags all run 100%.
  6. That's my setup, but with the 243G trigger. I'm running 124gr @ 130PF through it and it shoots great.
  7. A lot of it depends on your local matches or the style of matches you want to shoot. If you plan to shoot matches with a lot of long range, the longer barrel would give you the benefit of less drop. If your local matches are all bay style, then the 13.5" will be quicker transitioning and the drop due to loss in velocity won't be an issue.
  8. A buddy of mine just told me he bought four of them from Gun Mag Warehouse today. They're $36 each, which isn't a great deal, but not crazy.
  9. That is the easy answer, but my reasoning behind wanting something that holds more to start with is that reloading with a 23rd mag is faster than reloading with a big stick. I’ll probably just end up using my two 40’s on every stage and carry 1 or 2 of the 23’s for backup.
  10. I'm shooting the Rocky Mountain 300 in June. 5 stages all with a round count around 60. I currently have some Glock big sticks with TF +12 base pads that hold 40-41 reliably, maybe 1-2 more as the springs break in, and G17 mags with TTI basepads that hold 23. Even with starting with a 41 and reloading a 23, I'll be cutting it close if I have any makeup shots at this match.
  11. Sounds a lot like the "Mandatory Fun" we had in the Navy
  12. I don't even have anything that runs Colt mags, but that's a great write up!
  13. I have a Razor on my PCC right now and a Spitfire on my 3 gun rifle. The Spitfire is a really nice optic, especially for those of us with astigmatism. I might be going back to TacOps for 3 Gun though, and if I do the Spitfire will become my primary PCC optic, with the Razor at 45 degrees.
  14. Not that I think it's needed, but I could see them adding some mag restrictions to create multiple PCC classes. It would hard to make work well though with some having straight mags, some curved, etc...
  15. This. I have a 6" STI, although not a sight tracker, and a N.E.R.D Coffin showing up tomorrow. It doesn't have a thumb release, but they give you a helluva guarantee that the pistol will not come out of the holster. https://www.weare-nerd.com/hats/nerd-pistol-coffin-3-gun-holster
  16. Based on my calculations, a 16MOA dot coupled with my astigmatism would equate out to about a 27MOA dot. Should be good for the hoser stages though
  17. I just went to the 24 3Gun from a Geissele as well. Mine was a modified G2S that had worked great for me, but I wanted to try a single stage and I'm happy with it so far. The G2S is living a happy life in my .308 AR10.
  18. I have two TF +12 extensions on my Glock mags and get 40rds reliably in them. One of them went full salt shaker the first time I used it, but has been good to go since then.
  19. I shot my first match or two with my EDC G19. I had already polished the internals and added a Ghost Edge 3.5 connector. I changed the sights after the first match to a set of TruGlo TFX's, they're a fiber optic and tritium sight, so they were better for an EDC and gaming gun. The only other change I made was that I would swap out the grip plug for a basic mag well for USPSA to help with reloads, but found it too bulky to carry with. Then I was at the range one day and they had a lightly used gen 3 G34 for $450 and the 19 hasn't been used in a match since then.
  20. I have one of those in my 3 Gun rifle and just put one in my PCC as well. Great trigger.
  21. I have an M3K with the MOA +8 on it. It's 53 3/8" OAL and the tube is 8" past the end of the 24" barrel, 7" past the choke.
  22. I was running this 16" PSA upper on an AR15 lower with a TorkMag G-Block for a while, but reloads were always a little slow with that setup. I got a good deal on a PSA gen 3 lower during the week of SHOT Show (thanks @wyliearms) and picked up the lower on Friday. I added some Magpul parts that I had laying around, a TACCOM 3-stage buffer system, a Hiperfire 24 3G trigger, a comp from BBBest on eBay, some Taylor Freelance +12 extensions on Glock 33rd mags, and topped it with a Vortex Razor 3MOA red dot on an ADM riser. I ordered an Odin extended mag release and I'm going to get a mag well from @bmiller once he verifies fitment on the gen 3 lower. So far I'm pretty happy with how it shoots with the 3-stage buffer and 130PF 124gr bullets.
  23. What did the range of your LOP end up being with the SGA stock and adaptor?
