  1. OK I need some help, and this is always the best place. #1 contact name at DSG Arms ? Contact name at Remington ? I want to do the most effective thank you note
  2. Happy Birth day , I am old and slow, I started typing this note on the 8th and now its the 8th by the time I finished it.
  3. The carrier and wrist has to be line up, If the wrist is not lined up the fingers do not grab it as consistent. What was so fast for me to learn this past weekend was the 8 round Pinwheel - set up to hole 4 shells at one grab. For Me = the 8 round PinWheel is twice as consistent as the FLS. As all I had to do with my "old week hands" is lift my elbow as the first shell went in the gun so that my Left thumb drooped in behind the shells. Are you quad loading out of the pinwheels? Yes I Am, Its a lot more consistent grab from the PinWheels. the holders are mounted cose, and its not alot diffrent than grabing just two.

  5. UP Date ! James did have a 8 round pin wheel for me on Thursday afternoon before the FB3G started on Friday. And I did use it in the match the very next day. Thanks! is 14th place at the FB3G match a big deal ? maybe not to some = But to Me I am thrilled to death about it. Moving up with some help from my friends. Jamie
  6. I Ended the match with a very Big Smile. Thanks to long list of hard working people in the FB team. This was one of my best placements in a Three Gun event, and it left me with a feeling of accomplishment to complete it with -o- penalties. I am going to Ice my feet now.
  7. Call Benny Hill and get a 6" 2011 on order in 9mm five or six 140 mags and you will have something that will hold its value for years.
  8. I will have my pants in a day or so and let you know. Bryan was insistent that I try them on for fit before I wash them.
  9. you need friends , If you were in this area plenty of us would let you try our gear. The absolute easiest thing to learn is the off a side saddle grab one and stick it in.= BUT ! that will hold you back. Do a search of the exsiting threads with video and see what one looks best for you. I very much like all things Carbon Arms = the stuff is adaptable to allmost any style of loading you want to learn.
  10. Life has gotten in my way of shooting , and I just now looked at Marks Video. My credit card is ready, Are operators Standing By? if I leave rite now I can be up to Colorado -Pick up a set - and be home for work in San Antonio Monday morning. I would still have time to learn that load. In Fact I have a challenge. I am going to ask James and Mark to deliver a 8 round Pinwheel to me the night before the Fallen Brethren match. I will practice a bit in the hotel room with dummy rounds. And I will use it in the match the next day. Thats how much I believe in learning curve on the Twins Carbon Arms system.
  11. Except for the minus one part that would be correct. Cruiser ready for a shotgun is magazine loaded to division capacity with the bolt forward on an empty chamber. The safety can be in whatever condition the shooter chooses at that point. Cruiser ready for the rifle is magazine in bolt forward on empty chamber, safety in shooters desired condition. The BigLucky guy may be correct for this match, BUT Cruiser Ready is lacking in deception as to the "Division Capacity" amount . *A =I have herd it as No more than 8 in the tube, and *B= herd it as no more than 9 rounds in the gun at the start. in fact I herd it both way at the same match on different stages. I never herd the term until two years ago, now the term is thrown around like it in a rule book some place for some organization. I thought "empty chamber start" was not lacking in a complete description.
  12. If you absolutely want load reliability the Twins Vest is the very best for the speed. my second go to is the Pinwheels with Tec-locks. But I have had my fasts time with the FLS but its not as reliable at the pinwheels or the vest. I have not try-ed the Backbone because I like the Pinwheels too much. The Pinwheels are what I load out the most to other shooters on my squad. The only thing I can find lacking in the vest is -the heat-
  13. I am heading down from Va. and I have not secured a room yet... Split one? let me know Bill See post # 191 for a cheep room
  14. one of the smartest things I ever said was "Its the people that make the game worth doing"
  15. Discount Code ??? it that something even a low level simi pro old guy can get a -discount code- Thanks for the help = I have two pair on the way soon from Bryan
  16. Did you try Scott a Liberty optics = scott@libertyoptics.com
  17. Its very good = as noted its easy to even use a camera hand held behind it.
  18. my wife laughed at me the frist three times I brought home a Senior Trophy from a 3gun event. I like out running the young guys, Not out shooting just out running. my wife is just now getting out of her wheel chair and useing a walker for the next few weeks after breaking both her ankels. I may have to go to the range or the next match just to get some photos with the Walker on the stages after she is done with it.
  19. you have an access plate on the frount at the "toe kick" two to fore screws to remove it and look / smell under the unit. all so it something died on top of the dishwasher it would smell even if the door was closed. 30 + years and I never heard of a stinky dishwasher that would smell like death. For it to make the dishes stink it has to be in the water pump that makes the heated water pump back up and spray on the dishes. - its kinda like a clothes washer it fills up about 4" deep and thin addes extra heat to the water and pumps the water through the spray arms. A good dishwasher will even have a built in garbag disposal. = That part may be faulty. The easiest thing to test is remove the drain hose under the sink ware it conects to the garbage disposal = ( have a bucket handy ) drain the hose into the bucket. the hose will have a "loop" in it to trap water and keep the sewer smell in you sink side garbag disposal from stinkin into the DW. If the water in the line stinks more than just a little Remove the entire unit and think about a new DW. Cheeper than patching a stinking unit back to geather. I Would Not be eating off dishes washed in that DW untill you finde out what it is. !!
  20. some hotel rooms are open in Jacksboro = a small place called the Butterfield Depot #940-567-5567 a room with two beds is $61 a night, the internet reviews say its friendly and clean. Mention my name and get -0- discount
  21. Well, that kills any oportunity to shoot HeMan with some of the best HeMan shooters out there, they will all have to drink the koolaid in TS... that is one way to ruin a match I was really looking forward to shooting HeMan at... JJ Shopping Divisions ?...humm Why would I want to shop divisions? I just want to compete with others, not shoot by myself...its a shooting competition! and with the requirement in the FB3G rules to have 10 in a division, I don't want to get bumped to Open with HeMan gear. JJ I wasn't Picking at you MR JJ, But at the situation that set it in motion Besides I am just a Semi pro , no one is supposed to listen to a semi pro
