  1. Well, that kills any oportunity to shoot HeMan with some of the best HeMan shooters out there, they will all have to drink the koolaid in TS... that is one way to ruin a match I was really looking forward to shooting HeMan at... JJ Shopping Divisions ?...humm
  2. a spring may help Or you may have caught my BenellY Virus. I have one that gave me Tortes over the issue. It worked at the Pro Am on every stage = but my brain filled the Virus Void to keep my score low
  3. The New 1-6 would not work very good with the EBR 556 reticle. ( I Do Like ) the EBR reticle in the 1-4 Razor very much. But it 'in my opinion' would be too big and clumsy for the 1-6. When Vortex has something new with the Reticle, I doubt very much it would be something that is "Throw out there" = it will be good. The Reticle as is would have worked for 99.5% of the match shots I did this last year.
  4. Thats the first time you did that? I learned after the third time.
  5. I would have thought that you arrange the pants in 'Tactical' poses stuffing them with shipping packing so it looked like the invisible man was running in them. I am glad you did not pose in them your self though. shirt less with finger painted camo on. My wife may see it and say "How much for, ! Those !, pants I hate in when she does that
  6. Give Mike at CS Tactical a call. He had at least one last week when I was there... You'll have to wipe my drool off if it's the one I looked at CS Tactical @ 916-670-1103 I just spoke with Mike. Mine will be enroute today. He told me one of the top 3 gunners in CA looked at one last week and really liked it. Would that be you? I can remember more than two Great shooters from CaliForina that liked the scope your asking some of them to come out of the Closet though.... I think they had other scope mfg sponsor flags on their shirts. I'm not naming Names
  7. I'm a Zombie AND I like lasers; do you think this scope is right for me? I have been married twice = the first one taught me a lot, most of it I have hopes of forgetting. Is it rite for you? This scope is like the Hottest woman you have ever met , And she thinks your smart and handsome. How could that not be "Right for You" even if you never shot out to 500 yards and over the field of view and high definiton of the targets make it great. I have very little exsperiance with a Laser sight, But I did shoot open handgun for 18+ years 1/2 of it with a Target Focus like you would shoot a Lazor. I think this scope with the red dot on has advantages over a Lazor becuse you can set the red dot up over the Head area on a 4 yard target and still know it will hit below the dot on the center of the A in the head.
  8. You did not like the photo? I thought that was good for 1000 words. Wow is the most common term that shooters use to describe the big screen TV at the back of the scope. Not a single person that looked at my scope at Rockcastle thought that the RED Dot could be should be any brighter. The Red dot is small enough that I could leave it on to shoot the steel targets through the trees on stage #4 at the ProAm. In fact I was able to hit some targets faster than the RO could be "Herd" calling hit. ?Couldn't find the Razor at Rockcastle ? ... Did you see the guy with the bight Green and white Vortex shirt passing a scope around ? Not more than two Jaimie's allowed at one event
  9. Its better than I say. Please post in with a better description than I provided. And If your NOT happy with it we could start a wait list on this thread of people that will buy it form you. That will be with a Throw Ring from MGM, Rite?
  10. If you purchased it and it shot great, Something would gnaw at your brain wondering how long it was going to work.
  11. Lets say NO to 20 second three gun stages

  12. Add some more slugs shots, Like the sniper target hiding in the trees. And longer up hill runs in the deep Voodoo woods. I love it Oh and more No Shoots ...Lots of them to slow them young speed shooters down Lets just say no to 20 second three gun stages.
  13. a few years back I said " NO Autographs Please"! and they did not know I was jokeing.
  14. You had some good stages Ben lots of high points even on the stages that did not come out like you hoped
  15. several years back ..OK way back when it used to rain in Texas. The creak had turned into a white water river our side of the now river had a 5Ft sign 40 yards into the water and another 40 form the raging part of the water = 80+ yards to the center of the white water. And Old man and woman drive rite past us in to the water and the car dies at the same time I see the two grand kids in the back of the station wagon. so I risked it & I drove out in my van and pulled them back helped the old guy with draining the air intake and thin had to block his path to keep him from driving back in after the car started up.. Luckily the police showed up. it was one of the strangest things that has ever happend to me.
  16. We can get Scott to post in at some point, But he said that other reticles were "in the works" I have one that I am putting the finishing touches on -"as part of a wish list " that looks good on the paper and has plenty of feedback for ranging distance. The scope on a gun with a bi-pod would be good stand alone observation and ranging tool with the rite reticle. I have a pair of 18" see-through sideways diamondds outside the 500 yard bar with the tip of the diamon the full value wind hold off. 18" at 500 yards works out 1/2 Mill so at 1000y it is one full Mill combine that with the gap and the see through the diamond with the out line of it 0.025 thick. Any way the math is working out great to have a MOA EBR style reticle with Mill crossover information. Scott said they would look it over and I will get a chance to sell it to them.
  17. The JM reticle does not have wind-age cheat marks in it. so my plan on any long stages with full value wind is to Dial in the wind If I move out to 500 yard For now with 1/2 value at 500 as all I had to do was hold off the end of the bar. I try-ed the knobs with gloves on just so I would know and I could feel them bump though a leather 'Trademaster' glove. I was going to say that I did not try it with my ski gloves but I figured what the heck and went to get them -OK - Tested the Winter gloves in the AC. I was able to turn on the Red dot and make adjustments easy and turn the Elev and wind age 4 click and thin back to Zero and be certain of it. My Wife has never touched the Razor controls = with her winter gloves on and never handling the scope controls she did OK but not great, the Red dot control was hard for her to grip, but the Elev and wind age was good she missed the Elevation Zero return buy one click. But that was more likely my Drill Sargent instructions. She is such a good girl.
  18. No the dot is not Brighter than the Sun ...But My Smile was brighter than the sun after stage 8 and 4 I love watching the video a buddy did for me, if it weren't for the shirt I would not know my self. = I look like a fast shooter.
  19. Mr Pat The only thing that 60% of the SwarO shooters liked in the SwarO over the Razor was the bigger -Not Brighter- dot in the center. The other 40% of SwarO shooters Liked that the dot was smaller. or was that 40- 60 the other way. Sat and Sunday I had shooters put the dot up into the sky on and off clouds in full sunlight and the dot stayed visible. its close to five times as bright as the my old 1-4 FFP. And the on Sunday it has the same battery that I put in it two weeks before. I admit this scope is better than my Dear Love the 1-4 Razor with the EBR Reticle. Send-It I like that Tag Line. Five years ago I did not know what it meant, now to hear that from a trusted friend is music OK Edit ! Edit ! alert ! I did not tell any one to look at the Sun
  20. Cool - Fast work Thanks Chris I think its crazy to run this scope with out a Throw ring Order one from from you favorite guy at the same time you order your scope. Or even have the Ring waiting for the scope to come. Chis made one for my 1-4 that worked fine, and thin Vortex sent me one made by Travis with the Vortex Logo on it. I liked the MGM better , but my buddy liked the one by Chis better than or at least as much as the MGM this is the one that fit the 1-4 Chris will let us know if the new one to fit the 1-6 is similar
  21. I have a few more photos that may be helpful. I like that the MGM Throw Ring can be operated -Open handed- so that in - The rush under the clock- I don't shuv my thumb up under the mount and push on unmovable resistance. A damaged thumb at a match is no fun at all. The ring in this photo is at 1X The Scope has more eye relief that printed = thats a good thing, its very forgiving to face placement on the stock. what your going to want is mounting a bit farther forward than whats called normal. The ring in this photo is at 6X at the place I like for 1X it can be hooked with the thumb or open handed and it will not snag in the case or bad on long trips. throw the gun on a table during a stage transition and you don't have to worry about the entire force of the gun on the Throw Ring. I will be at the Fallen Bretheren event and the BRM3G in October if you want to put your hand on it.
  22. The Last ONE ! OMG,- LOL Ken had 20 and did not take any pre-orders. MGM / Travis did a run of four Prototypes. That fit and worked perfect. I really wanted a shorter Handel than the standard MGM and this one is perfect. I am not certain how fast the new ones will be ready to ship But calling for a pre-order with MGM would be a good Idea. I will get some photos up tonight. The 1 to 6 zoom favors a leaver as it is not easy to turn with out it. The MGM leaver worked great at the Pro-Am Its a one pice Throw Ring not on the web site yet http://www.mgmswitchview.com/index.htm This photo shows the Reostat switch on the left side of the scope (pulled out) to unlock it. The elevation caps are removed to show 50 MOA of adjustment in one full turn, the knobs will make positve turns with gloves on.
  23. I was one of the RO's on pro 5. Please PM me and talk to me about any issues you had with the way we ran things. I work many matches and am more than happy to listen to feedback. I strive to be the most professional and best RO I can be, so I am more than willing to listen to your issues and see if there is something that will help me be better. In fact, if anyone has anything they think I could have done better running the stage feel free to let me know. Tyler Some dancing girls on stage 5 with short shorts to help set the steel. no not realy. Well you could have helped me pull that joke like I asked, = it would have been funny. I was very happy with the Quality of ROing =Thank you for your Service JF
