  1. What were we to see in this video? One thing people forget to do is clean the little emitting diode with a clean soft q-tip. It gets pretty dirty and will change the dot look, size, and habit. A buddy was over to my place Friday with his open gun and the dot seemed smaller, less bright, and had an odd halo around it. I knew what is was right away and cleaned it and handed the gun back to him. This has happened over time with all my open guns. That just might do the trick? Worth a shot.
  2. I left mine on for match day and turned it off when back home. Lasted a full year no issue
  3. Hey Robb! A fellow San Diegan!! Shoot me a PM and I’m happy to share what I know about the A01 platform.
  4. It was a poorly timed/worded joke. I think it is heavier than the GMR15 but some one else will most likely chime in.
  5. bout ten fiddy.....I think it is heavier but can't recall if Josh told me that or someone else. Then again I could be wrong
  6. Awesome. Glad you are still shooting Jim. Hope all is well
  7. This plus the inherent lack of needed maintenance to keep an MPX running (I’ve owned three and know what they take) is attractive.

  9. Nice little video review on Facebook. Shoots very nicely. Looks like 3k will be the price. End of year possibly for the masses.
  10. I have only dabbled a little bit with CZ75 guns. The A01 is similar but a little different in some areas. I would the difference is minor refinements to make things simpler and less complicated. You will be fine!
  11. Surely run a frame mounted optic on a major power factor gun.
  12. Next I’m going to attempt to change the springs out on my used gun. These are fun to work on and no longer intimidating.
  13. They are saying 8 months now. Any pics of yours???
  14. It really is a nice place. The monthly match there is just as good as any level one or level two championship. I’m thankful that this is my local range and being a member there is awesome because you can go and pick any bay and set it up how you want and shoot anytime.
  15. It is starting to sound just like the evolution roll out.
  16. That looks great! But that is not very comforting. That looks great. But that is not very comforting.
  17. I am sure it just needs tinkering. The one in Gavin's video is going extremely fast with the handle and keeping up just fine. The one fear I have is the learning curve and finding all the bugs and fixing them.
  18. I agree. I actually did very well on that stage. Great memories were made at that match.
  19. Ok, you twisted my arm. The facility and layout were incredible. We shot all 12 stages in one day and the amount of walking wasn't bad at all compared to some ranges and major matches. The stages were not overly complex or too hard (except for stage 12) but they gave you many options for a stage plan but also options to lose time and get mikes. The flow of the day was very good on Friday without any long waits at any stage. Staff was very friendly and made it fun. Food truck was great. Prizes seem aplenty and I actually won some decent stuff. If I could shoot it all again tomorrow I would. It was nice not to have to paste or reset as well. All in all it was an A+ experience for me and those on my squad. With nearly 400 shooters it was the largest match I have attended to date. And there was no shortage of talent! Being new to Carry Optics I wanted to be conservative with my shooting without shooting any misses, etc. Ended up 47 of 101 carry optics, solid mid A class with 228 A, 43C, and one lousy D. Oh and one NS. Now to actually get classified!
  20. This was such a good match!!!!!!!!! Hopefully it will be held at Rowan again next year as it is 45 min from me.
  21. I’ll try and post a picture of my SP01 with one mounted. found one
  22. Correct. It’s been about three years or so. I guess time flies.Correct. It’s been about three years or so. I guess time flies.
  23. FYI, you can order 9mm IMM SV guns now and have been able to for a long time.
