I use CCI SPP with 100% function in my 9mm Major open guns.

N350 is very soft and clean shooting in my SV IMM with the new barrel. I’m at 7.4g for 172-173 which is the magic mark for working the comp.

My SV is very solid in the holster. It does not wiggle at all. I’ve never had a screw come loose on the MRH but did with other holsters. The Limcat was really bad.

Yes. It digs into your thigh pretty bad and sits at a weird angle without.

That’s for my 9mm SV IMM with SVP barrel.

What gun/barrel? I would start with 7.6g 3N37 for a JHP 124g at around 1.175.

I did the exact same thing on my Honcho. Took 2 minutes.

I had the barrel support on my double alpha and did not care for it. The locking lever is super easy to engage and disengage on the MRH. It’s very solid as I had a stage where I forgot to unlock it and obviously could not get the gun out of the holster. As far as missing the barrel support I don’t even think of it anymore. All of the other guns I’ve owned have sat nicely on the MRH.

Everglades MRH is life! I won’t use anything else.

I know you made your choice but I just read this thread and wanted to chime in. I have an SV IMM in 9mm and it has the new tech and is wonderful. Flawless so far and such a joy to shoot.

I am exactly in the same boat as you. Cancelled my Apex order and got an 1100 in 9mm. Set it up and added a light kit and better loaded bullet bin support and it’s amazing. Took a couple hours to tweak and tune and now I’m jamming out 9mm Major like there is no tomorrow. A Mark 7 will someday end up on my bench most likely but for now I’m very pleased.

Agreed. My current open IMM build is very reasonably especially compared to other builders.

Limited guns?

I have one with all the new tech and can attest that 1) they will build them for you and 2) getting one in 9mm should raise zero concern for longevity or performance. It’s simply amazing and extremely nice to shoot. Go ahead and order one now before prices and wait time go up.

I am starting to have some regret as I should have submitted my gunbuilder in April and not waited! They are that good. The one I have currently is the best open gun to date for me in every way.

Yeah that doesn’t work for me with the way our bays are configured and with the 6 moa dot. Would be nice if it did though!

Unfortunately they do lose their tactile response and clickiness as others have said. I never thought about just leaving a competition dot on all the time but that’s a good idea. Although I find at close to every stage I adjust the brightness up and down depending on sunlight etc. Unless I’m shooting an indoor

P365 for the last three years and now a P365XL with Romeo Zero once I get a holster

It’s too long for RTS2 platform. You must direct mill/mount if you want to use it. I had an SP01 done for it and it’s excellent.

My new SV has the latest SVP hybrid barrel and it’s awesome.
