  1. Can't speak for S&B, but I've loaded and shot ~20k of 9mm with Fiocchi SPP. Nothing to complain about. The cups are softer than of Magtech primers.
  2. I would go for a plastic guiderod from CZ and a single side safety in case you're a rightie.
  3. Latest iteration of small frame Stock II Xtreme with empty Xtreme 18 round mag on kitchen scales - 44.35 oz. Just the gun, with production iron sights - 41 oz exactly.
  4. Next page navigation works for me in Chrome on Android tablet.
  5. Probably. There is a bulge on one side and pin strike is offset.
  6. Looks like Tapatalk needs an update to connect to the new forum URL. Could you please ask new maintainers to work with Tapatalk team to make it happen? Thank you for all your work through tne years and the book!
  7. If .380 slips past bullet feeder on 1050 to seating station - I honour it, placing bullet manually, then seat, crimp, and shoot. It extracts and cycles the gun with ~3gn of VV N320 under 150gr bullet. The case expands non-uniformly - on the left on the picture below. Usually, the case won't make it past first or second station though.
  8. Tinplate sheets on walls to protect against splatter. Plate inside old wide car tire. Tires around poppers to protect the floor. They do ricochet sometimes, but nothing dangerous.
  9. +1. Being a lefty, I never felt penalized in the competitions I shoot. The leaning stuff is either symmetrical, or there is start position choice to select direction of flow. Contrary, SHO stages are sometimes built to favor lefties. I smile when righties struggle, then I sweep the stage in one comfortable motion. I shoot Level 3 only though.
  10. The mag on the right (in the picture above) - without ribs - is small frame. Both works for me reliably with stock followers. Better picture:
  11. I just measured short and long large frame sticks at feed lips. The metal and thickness is the same ~0.8mm. I bought long stick for 96Eur.
  12. Tanfoglio has both large and small frame 170mm mags for sale (in Europe). They are 26-rounders in 9mm.
  13. I prefer Stock II because sights returns better than with Stock III. Make sure you're getting "new" Stock II - it's a different gun - see the New vs. Old thread recently here for details. Improved serrations and I need no grip tape anymore. I believe, Xtreme line is a good value. 4 mags, pads, aluminum grips, FO front sight, factory polish, etc. I only change to 2.5mm wide front sight out of habit and install shock buffer. Coming from Glock, you'll probably find 3mm sight comfortable. I skip the accessories, then dry fire, live fire, and it's fine in a week.
  14. I own both Stock II and III (also Limited Custom). If you can afford it, the latest iteration of Stock II design is amazing. The standard Tanfoglio aluminum grips, on the picture above, will fit large hands better than Xtreme grips.
  15. My friend and I, we shot plate rack with older and newer Stock II Xtreme side by side using 150gn reloads. The ergonomics of the grip is different. We both prefer newer version. I've been told by a Tanfoglio dealer, that another version will be out of the factory by the end of this year (in Europe).
  16. The flatter Tanfoglio Xtreme DA trigger seats noticeably farther than the curved one. Might be a problem for DA pull. I have long fingers, yet prefer curved trigger. Both can be adjusted to the same amount of post-travel.
  17. 25-26 rounds in 9mm with stock spring and follower. They work for me. I shoot Production, those are training mags. I use them with deep Henning pads for 30 and 27 rounds reloadable for small and large frame mag respectively. The tubes are 168mm exactly. I assembled large frame mag with Grams kit - didn't liked the feel of flat follower, haven't shot it, can't comment on the capacity or function.
  18. I use 170mm Tanfoglio mags. No need to weld tubes.
  19. Not sure about unique sight cut - I installed SP-01 Shadow sights onto 85C made in 1994 without any modification to the rear sight or slide. Please elaborate.
  20. If you're fine with drilling the frame, then Alex IPSC double-sided mount or CZC single-sided mount and C-more RTS2 red dot. Use professional equipment so that the holes are inline. Tanfoglio sells small aluminum racker that goes in place of rear sight.
  21. If holes are not pre-drilled, drill for STI and use http://www.ccgunworks.com/store/shop/category/scope-mounts/
  22. Dremel and $1 #422 felt polishing cone.
  23. I believe you're not doing your gun a favor long term by cutting the spring. When firing pin is blocked, the FPB spring is compressed. Pulling trigger allows the spring to expand and clear the block. It might be dirt accumulated in FPB slot that holds it in place leading to light strikes. Happened to me once. I clean my guns occasionally
