Someone broke the plate rack but there was some plates on stands he got to shoot off and he loved it. Of course running my m2 would knock everything over and his .22 was just making noise so he asked to shoot my Dvc 3 gun. I only loaded one round at a time and let him shoot that too. He had a blast! Thanks guys for the responses. We just got home and cleaned everything and man we had a blast. He did incredible and was super responsible and mature. I absolutely have no regrets and feel bad for letting my inner selfishness flare up. Lord willing there will be plenty more matches in my future but no telling how long he will actually WANT to hang out with dad. I loved it and pray for many more opportunities just like it!! I have the large midway bag and love it. I use my rugged cart for all my gear and also have a safariland bag that I use a lot now. Holds my guns and mags and then I have a smaller midway bag i still take for miscellaneous gear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I haven’t shot a match in a LONG time. Like 8 months long. I have been shooting several times but have not shot in an actual match. When I could go, it’s raining bad or the match got canceled for some reason. I was so excused yesterday to go to a match this morning in Jackson, Tn. About a 2 hour drive for me. Was up late putting all my gear together and double checking my list. As I’m loading some guns in bags, my 8 year old says “Oh Dad!!! Can I go to the range with you?? I want to shoot my .22 pistol and rifle!!” My first thought and what I told him was “ no son. Dads shooting a match and you can’t go buddy”. He didn’t get an attitude or anything. Just said oh okay and walked off. This ate at me for the next hour while I was up. I decided last night that I was skipping the match and taking my son to the outdoor range and having a father-son shooting day! I still have this little bit of “ughhh” in the back of my head even though I know it’s selfishness and really wanting to shoot the 3 gun match today but I’m sure I did the right thing. Anyone else have kids that love going? Did I do the right thing? I feel certain I did but would like others opinions. Like I said, he’s my oldest and with two below him, one on one time gets hard so I know I’ll never regret time with him. Just wanted to ask my fellow shooting community opinion! Off to the range! I personally bought mine using a credit card. I know, I know. Some people say it’s dumb and trust me, it can be. Mine was 0% interest for 18 months so I bought a Hayes M2, DVC 3gun and a JP Ar with a super nice optic. I did these one at a time. Bought it. Paid it off. Bought the next one. So on, so on. My wife has a card and I have a card. We both set limits and DO NOT pass these limits. This is the way I personally bought my nicer toys. After shooting a match I always clean my rifle, pistol and shotgun. With my 2011, I always take the top off and wipe everything down and oil the rails and lug and whatnot. Haven’t done a full breakdown yet because I just switched not long ago from Glock. The video posted above is one I found about a year ago and is BY FAR the best one out there for 2011 maintenance imho. I stripped it down pretty far when I first bought it new with this video just to go through it. Tony talked me into the c-more variable scope when it was on sale. Best scope I’ve used to date. I’ve played with many vortex scopes and a couple of low power NF scopes and see no benefit at all. I don’t think it’s worth buying being that you already have a razor but if I was in the market I’d get the c-more again! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a checklist on my phone in the notes app for all the reasons above. I drove an hour and a half one day to a pistol match and left all ammo at home. Lucky for me, my buddy shooting with me was shooting 9mm also and had plenty. Sad part is I invited him and he was the newby [emoji17]

I wanted to get in to pcc also and I searched the classifieds on here. Ended up with 2 home builds but both had super high quality parts. One is heavier with a 14.5” barrel and the other one is a ULW set up. I bought both so I could figure out which I like more and sell the other but that never happened lol. I love it man. I have also acquired a versamax from Benny hill on here for cheap lol. Out of the two, the versamax shoots softer and has a better loading port but is way heavier. With that said the m2 is more reliable I’m sure but I haven’t experienced any issues yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Read all the way through and didn’t think anyone was going to mention this. Switched about a year ago and have lost almost 80lbs to date. That’s with powerlifting and cardio (fasted) and doing the ketosis diet. It’s amazing and as others have said, zero sugar crashes. I can go 12-14 hours and never feel like I’m starving due to not having insulin levels going nuts. It’s prescribed by doctors to lots of diabetes patients for this reason and works miracles for mental health and numerous other things. Check out “The Magic Pill” on Netflix for more info but that’s enough for my rant lol. Just love how it changed my life and want to share all the time! For snacks, beef jerky with no sugar, lunch meat, cheese, nuts, etc. I’ll bring some grilled steak or chicken and eat it cold with some cheese also if need be. Lots of water and your good to go!! I did all this to my 24”. Been a couple of years and a lot of rounds through it and she runs like a top. I have bought a Hayes benelli m2 and a Benny Hill versamax since just because and love those as well but I guess I’ll be the exception and say mine runs GREAT.
