  1. My last build I did copy some aspects and also had some other designs added by my gunsmith.
  2. I'm running Precision Delta 124gr JHP's, 6.9gr of WAC, 1.165. I have 2 holes in the barrel, 171 PF
  3. My .40 S&W Castor Troy gun for USPSA SS.
  4. I've run Winchester Small Rifle Primers, but recently switched to CCI Small Rifle Primers. Federal Match Primers worked well for me as well.
  5. Working on gathering the parts for another build, but these are my current main gun and back up. (Old pic as the silver gun now has an RTS2)
  6. I like the go gun mount, they also came out with another model other than the racers cut may be worth to check that one out
  7. I just picked up a LDC for my build. Shot a friend's open gun with the LDC and it tracked very nice.
  8. I never had a problem with my slide ride, but the RTS2 is just a lot better IMO. I'm currently running it with a Slipstream mount and also have one on my back up gun with a limcat mount. I have a rear mount on order, have yet to ever try one so i'll see how much i like it.
  9. I had a matchmaster as well which i ended up giving to my old man, I now have 2 full size open 2011's. I'd go with the full size, don't really see much of a difference transistion wise from the shorty and full size and the weight isn't really that big of a deal. With major loads the shorty is definitely a lot snappier, but with minor it was ok. I'd still recommend full size
  10. Ive run BBI through my STI Watchmaster. Smokey but they ran. I have not tried them yet but seems like others have tried blue bullets with success. From what I've heard they keep the barrel clean but may lead up the comp.
  11. I started out with an open glock, i had both platforms a 17 and a 34. I ended up going with the 17. Are you planning on shooting major PF with it? I did make the switch after a few months to 2011's and haven't looked back. I ran minor in mine until I got serious into the sport, major definitely does have a lot more kick coming from the polymer platform.
  12. Thx for the info! No I have not tried that I'll do load up some more rounds of BBI and try that. To clean it is spray the comp with mpro7 and pick out all the build up with a brass pick. The bullets are great! My cmore and cmore blast shield are also gunked up too after shooting. The cmore lens has a coating of either lead or coating of the bullet and so does the blast shield. Am I loading them wrong? Or is it I just have too much powder behind it?
  13. I was loading these to 1.150, but running WAC at 7.2 gr. They did smoke quite a bit and it took a while to clean the gunk out of the comp. Do you think pushing the OAL out a tad bit more and lowering to 6.8 gr of WAC would help fix the smokey-ness and gunk in the comp? The bullets were very accurate and I never had any issues with tumbling out of my STI Matchmaster. I appreciate any info, thanks!
