  1. GIve'em a call and ask for Justin, he's the big man in charge and will make time to talk to ya.......
  2. The new company is not IFG, its IFG-NA, LLC...... Seems like it got a reboot with different ownership. Plus it makes no since if it was affiliated with EAA to start a separate company in Texas.... instead of Florida where EAA resides.
  3. i can assure you its not the same ownership or company from 2010
  4. Agreed, but not all Limpro's would fit in the box without modifications to the frame....... which makes things iffy
  5. From what i can remember IFG idea was first tried with Keith (Owner of EAA) back in 2010 (a company called IFG 2010) with the same 4 companies that IFG-NA deal with today. That partnership effectively died before it got off the ground for reasons unknown from what i can tell. In 2013 IFG-NA, LLC in Amarillo rebooted the idea and was able to land a deal with 3 out of the 4 Italians companies with Tanfo being the 4th this year. For reasons unknown, Tanfo has been able to get around the exclusivity with EAA and is starting to let IFG-NA handle some of their new models. IFG-2010 may have been able to get a few guns in the country from back in the day, but i can assure you IFG-NA is a completely separate entity from EAA.
  6. Sooooooo...... are we more worried about how the gun looks now or how it shoots? I think we're all willing to look past the "flashy" curves Tanfo tried to throw at it if the gun shoots as good as their other models. End of the day it gives Tanfo guys a gun to get back into IDPA with......
  7. We're not the ones importing these..... its Italian Firearms Group "IFG" out of Amarillo, Tx. Great group of folks and they're really excited about growing the line of guns. Just to clear things up they will not be importing anything that EAA has already brought in. What we can expect is a company eager to work for you and support the aftermarket community for the Tanfo line. We're set up with them to be a dealer/distributor and hopefully can workout a turn key platform that the Xtreme line wishes it could grow up to be. If you where bummed about the limpro getting cut for import for IDPA, then this is your platform folks! Link to IFG - http://www.italianfirearmsgroup.com/tanfoglio
  8. I’ll have a full write up after this weekend for you guys..... it’s going to be a great platform.
  9. Yes sir it can... we can get them in most all the flavors right now.
  10. The Stock 1 has arrived ladies and gentlemen... Let the IDPA games begin...... oh and its a Texas company importing them not EAA
  11. Thanks everybody for all the emails, calls, and text messages...... Things have been crazy down here since friday but unfortunately we have no way to ship at the moment. We greatly appreciate your continued support and orders and we promise to do everything in our powers to get things back up and moving as soon as possible. The entire greater Houston area is doing everything it can to save each other at the moment, prayers and your thoughts are greatly welcomed!
  12. Grind them down.... then apply your grip tape.
  13. We've yet to set off federal primers with our Mark 7 driven 1050 in the shop and we have them set .012-.015 deep, and coming up to about 50,000 federal primers seated.
  14. If you need smaller than the Xtreme your out of luck........next option would be removing the grips and holding onto the frame.......
  15. Actually ill just start forwarding everyone to my "Support Hotline"..... Bidding starts now on Memphis Mechanics direct Cell Phone Number!!!!!
  16. Hahahaha, yes....... and $200 if you call me to ask for help then tell me you dont think it'll work because you read different online.......
  17. Get us some pics on graph paper where the BOLO DA breaks compared to your factory interrupter DA broke at...... From what i recall from our conversation you where running S&B primers which is about as hard as they come. There seems to be some difference in the trigger bar thickness on SF tanfos, Ive been working on one lately that required some extensive fitting in both the height and the curve.
  18. This just brought a tear to my eye.... im printing this out and hanging it on the shop wall!
  19. The BOLO will be one of the last pieces that wear in your gun, it's through hardened to RC50-52, and you would have to be shooting in extreme tempature shifts in order to see any kind of change in size........ and we would be talking about maybe .0001" of an inch
  20. Sorry, late to the party but it seems these guys have you headed in the right direction....
  21. We just got restocked with them as well, no reason to spend the extra money on the Xtreme version..... and nobody knows when the new model will finally be imported......
  22. Call us this afternoon to discuss what your seeing. We'll see if we can help you out.......
  23. I've experimented with dremels, belt sanders, sand paper, etc..... Remember these are 3D printed and not completely solid. The infill is 60% so once you break through the top 4 layers of material; it leaves pretty quickly. However by switching to a finer or less course material you can then smooth it out to your liking. Also when stippling you dont need as much heat as you would on a normal polymer pistol frame, you stipple them up pretty darn quick!
