  1. Welcome Home and thank you for your service. If you get the chance South Central shoots the first Sunday in southern Indiana and we would like to have you come shoot with us if you get the chance.
  2. Thanks to all of those who have served or are serving to keep this country free. Also to those who made the ultimate sacrifice we thank you!
  3. In the summer when it's hot aqnd I need to set a lot I usually throw two milk crates in the wagon witn my water cooler and range bag. They are cheap so if I forget them or they blow out of the back of the pick up I can usually find two more along side the highway on the way home. They also work pretty good.
  4. Being from Indiana I say we will trade the Gary Area for everthing south of 70. \ I believe that Indiana comes out ahead
  5. I was able to get on Matt's site on Friday and there was a small blurb that with all of his work on the range (ranch) he had,t had time to do a podcast. He said he would try to get to one this week but wasn't sure. I hope he can get one soon. I sure enjoy listening to them as I drive to work
  6. Got mine today. It looks great. Hard to concentrate on work when I want to start reading. Come on 5:00
  7. Jane, Don't give up your pride. Hit the home run. As long as you are right if the MD can't deal with it it isn't your problem. Maybe your boss should be talking to the Dr and not you. Just my .02 and it is worth exactly what you paid for it.
  8. David and Jane, Congratulations to the both of you and wishing you many more.
  9. Carinab, Thanks for posting this. I wish all of the television stations would start and end their days with this.
  10. Nik, Congratulations! Keep up the great work.
  11. Jane, I am practicing with a gentleman that has taken the Gunsite Training so I know that they can shoot in public! But he took it at the satelite class in Indiana so maybe they don't teach the super secret stuff outside of AZ! Hope to see you, David and Jackson at South Central Sunday
  12. This was a great show!! I am wondering why it took me so long to get this channel. Probably the same reason primers had to jump $7.50/5000 three days before I ordered them. Doh!!!!
  13. Happy Birthday James!!! Hope it's a great one! Hope to see you on the range soon!
  14. To make it easier ask for a case feeder for the 550. From the sound of things you will be going thru enough ammo to make this a worthwhile investment.
  15. How do you get any reloading done? I guess I get distracted to easily but I would admiring the veiw all the time and wondering why I didn't have any ammo for matches!
  16. +1,000,000 Why can't people understand that the time doesn't change they just have us move our clocks? Most stupid thing the government has come up with.
  17. As everyone else has said. TAKE THE CLASS. I was at his beginners class last year at the "Targeting Education Match" It was great. I am hoping that Max and Travis will be coming back to the midwest this year.
  18. I think this is more of the safety and what to expect at your first match type thing. Matt B had him on one of his radio shows. It is meant to be used as a power point presentation.
  19. Mark, I am very sorry for your loss. My Mom passed in 1999 and I still miss her but remembering all of the wonderful things she did for me helps tremendously. My prayers are with you and your family.
  20. Thanks to everyone for their help. Now I am off to see if I can find an ipod.
  21. Want to spend a little of my bonus and thought I would move into the 21st century. I have never owned an ipod and to be honest I don't know anyone who has one to ask. Would I be better to buy a nano and a DVD player or buy the 30 0r 60 gb video ipod? I have read some complaints with the small size of the screen. Also Matt Burkett's site says most of his stuff is video. If I get the nano will I still get the audio? Thanks for your help.
  22. Well it has just turned midnight here in Indiana and unlike all of the good little boys and girls I am not in bed yet. So here are a few well wishes. To our host Thank You for such a great place to come and learn! To all of the moderators Thanks for keeping us all on track! And to everyone here Thanks for sharing so freely of all of your knowledge on so many topics! Wishing everyone here a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and may we all achieve the goals that we set for ourselves this year. Doug Barnes
  23. To follow up on Bryan W's sentiment To the troops all over the world Merry Christmas and may God Bless you all. Thank You for your service and for all you are doing to keep this country free. Wishing that each and every one of you come home safe and soon!
