  1. Big Jake -where the Duke tells Richard Boone if anything happens to the the boy your fault, my fault nobodies fault I'm going to kill you. You gotta love it when someone makes it that plain. McClintock- Where the Duke tells him I ain't gonna hit you, I ain't gonna hit you the h*ll I'm not. In case it's not apparent I do like John Wayne,
  2. ISTJ There seems to be several of that going around in here,
  3. Mr Moore talks about fiction but from what I have heard about the piece of crap documentary that he won an Oscar for that is the fiction. He talks about a fictional election but all of the recounts show Bush won. He is only pi**ed off because the recounts were stopped by the Supreme Court before they could figure out a way to get Gore to win.
  4. Spook I think the better deal would be to send 100 of the maggot infested hippies to your company for one good man like yourself
  5. Hey 3QT Nice Job. Keep up the good work.
  6. Two small boys were discussing what the most dangerous animal in the world was. The first boy said that it was a lion and the second boy said "No it isn't" Then the first boy said it was a grizzly bear and the second boy said "No it isn't" So the first boy said "OK so what is the most dangerous animal in the world?" The second boy said that it's a Hippo-Gator. The first boy asked what's a Hippo-Gator and the second boy said that it was an animal with with the head of a hippo on one end and the head of a gator on the other. The first boy said that there is no such thing. He asked "How does he go to the bathroom?" The other boy said "He don't thats what makes him so mean!"
  7. I hate our wimpy *ss Republican Senators who have yet to figure out that they are in control and are letting the Dem's set the agenda; especially with the Miguel Estada nomination. I wanted the Republicans in charge to get President Bush's judicial nominations in place and now they are talking about backing off and letting the Dem's have their way. Make them filibuster from now until doomsday if that it what it takes. If they give up now it will be harder to get any other nomination through. They also need to learn to play just as dirty as the other side. Go on TV, radio, newspapers whatever and call them racists for not supporting a qualified judge just because he is a conservative. Also I hate the court that says that the "Pledge of Allegiance" is unconstintutional just because of the words "one nation under God" What are these idiots thinking? Oh thats right I forgot they are unable to make intelligent thoughts.
  8. xcount & bubber Thanks for the help. It was exactly as you said. There was a scratch on the yoke where the yoke screw had hit it. I polishec it out as you suggested. I will call S&W Monday to see about getting a new screw. Thanks again for the help.
  9. Guys, Thanks for all of the info. I will tear into it this weekend and post the results. I have had the side plate off and can seem to get out what ever is making the noise. If it is the plunger you refer to is there a trick to getting this out or is it something I need to worry about? Again thanks for all of the info.
  10. Bubber, I don't think that I explained the problem very well. The cylinder, ejection rod and the entire assembly that swings the cylinder on the frame came loose and came out of the frame. Is this the yoke? It appears to be a press fit of some type. I know that I am not explaining this very well but imagine all that is left is the frame and that is what I have. I have never had anything like this happen before or heard of it. If you have any ideas I would appreciate hearing them,
  11. I say you won't believe this because I don't think I would believe it if someone else told me it happened to them. The other night I was at the range siteing in the Pro Point that had come loose and I fired one shot and the cylinder didn't want to rotate. I opened the cylinder and removed the moon clip. It was kind of hard to come out but not terrible. I put in another moon clip and fired it complete with no problems but when I opened the cylinder latch and opened the cylinder the ejection rod slid all the way forward and the cylinder came out in my hand. I haven't been able to get it back together. Didn't think it should be that hard as easy as it came apart but it is. Also when you turn the frame up or down you can hear something moving inside. Anyone got any ideas what happened or why it won't go back together? Any help would be appreciated. Oh yeah this is a 625 Model of 1988 (Edited by DougBarnes101 at 9:28 pm on Feb. 19, 2003)

    Beer

Dave You missed the best beer ever - Strohs and Budweiser? We know why they have the Clydesdales.
  13. It probably is Photoshop but wouldn't it be great if they really would post these type of messages. It might cut down on other accidents
  14. I liked Matt B's tapes. As has been state previously watching someone doing something wrong and then seeing how to do it correctly seems to help. Also I really enjoyed the interview with BE. Shooter Ready was my first instructional tape and I like it. The only problem is it's just too d**n short. I also like IPSC Secrets by Lenny McGill (sp ?) I am reading Brians book and every new shooter should get a copy. I also like Matt B's book. Just the ramblings of a rank beginner.
  15. I hate going through a set of blueprints to find the mistakes that the engineer made then driving an hour and a half to a prebid conference and ask for clarification from said engineer and then have him issue an addendum that only answers about 25% of the questions that were asked. Whats up with that?

  17. Thanks to everybody for the information on shooting clubs around Indianapolis. I hope to meet all of you at the different local shoots this summer. Thanks again
  18. It's been a while since I went shooting (basically working 60-70 hours a week and then the honey-do chores on the week-ends) but when I did go it was a 2 hour drive to either of the clubs that I shot at. These would be called local matches and this would be about the farthest I would travel. I wish we could get a club going in Indianapolis, IN
  19. What do you do if a blonde throws a pin at you? Run-She has a grenade in her mouth!
  20. DogmaDog, The one accessory that I would not give up on my 550 is the Accessory Roller Handle. This makes long sessions seem alot shorter.
  21. SigLady, This helps greatly. I will print this out and give it to the club president and see if we can implement some of these in our next league. Thanks for the infomation and if anyone else has any other ways they shoot leagues I would like to hear from them.
  22. SigLady I was wondering what does your winter league shoot for courses of fire? I ask because the league that I am in we shoot 2 NRA 50 foot slow fire targets with 5 rounds each at 7, 15 and 25 yards. After 2 leagues and 20 weeks it gets a little boring. Granted I am not that great at it but boring just the same.
