  1. I noticed a slide for a Match has a loose rear sight. It can be moved about a 1/16” side to side. This is the base. My other slides have rear sights that are properly fitted. There are two very small holes in the top of the sight. On both sides of the height adjustment screw. Are there set screws that lock it down.
  2. I have a 9mm and 10mm slide for a Match. Changed to recoil spring to 20lb on 10mm. Shot it yesterday with both slides. Was trying out 10mm Sig ammo. It is hotter than my normal Georgia Arms 10mm. Recoil is increased with Sig. Bur now too bad. The plastic gun might be a bit much. My Match has a set of Nill target grips installed. Weighs more than 44oz.
  3. Wrong crowd. Not many on forum shoot 10mm. For matches 9mm and 40 is better.
  4. I have two Tan. In 10mm. The recoil spring was lighter in the Match was lighter for 10mm models than for 9mm. I replaced the 14 pound with a 20. The 10mm Limited Pro must have had a 12 pound. It was hammering hard. Put a 20 pound in it also. I think a heavier spring saves the pin. The slide going into battery is slowed by the next round being loaded into chamber.
  5. Something has to go. If 40’s are hard on stops, I need a spare for my 10’s. The light weight springs may contribute to this. Seen pictures of barrels damaged also. My Limited Pro was hitting hard stock. Put in a 20 lb recoil spring and the action feels and sounds better with normal load 10’s.
  6. This is a great development. Glad to see the quality and customer service are improving.
  7. From my second hand knowledge the size of the magazine used and length of the ejection port are the main differences. I need to handle one. Maybe Patriot Defense will get some in soon.
  8. Very fond of mine. Great gun, think I like it better than my Shadow. Will not sell. They new one coming in might on my radar.
  9. I purchased my last two at Oakhill.
  10. I have an unused 9mm barrel. Showed it to Joe at Patriot Defence and he said it is for a Stock I. It is a 4 1/2.
  11. No large frame magazines will fit a small frame gun. Whether 22LR to 10mm. The longer cartridges will not fit a small frame gun or magazine. Ejection port is shorter. Some of the guns come sprung very light. My 10mm Limited Pro felt like it was hitting very hard with full power loads. Installed a 20lb recoil spring and it feels perfect. I think it would have displayed signs of frame battering over time with the Stock recoil spring. It must be made with minor loads in mind.
  12. Never have seen one this old. Did not know Interarms was ever based in Houston either. I thought they were in VA. How is the rear sight? The front is something I would replace very quickly. Guess it is age related, but good sights are a priority to me. Plus a comfortable trigger.
  13. You are asking a lot. If recoil like a 9mm is a goal shoot 9mm. It should be much easier to get a .40 S&W down to 9mm minor level. 10mm could be downloaded to these levels. But there does not seem to be interest in a 10mm minor load. I run 180 gr at 1200 ft/sec. Does not feel like a 9mm. These are the target rounds.
  14. It is a small frame. Never seen a small frame version. Guess I may see them soon. The mag change and trigger guard should make them easy to spot. Do any of the small frame guns have a square trigger guard?
  15. I accidentally purchased a Tanfo small frame mag in 9mm. I think from Numrich. Will try in a CZ to verify it feeds. Like many in the US, even the 22LR is large frame.
  16. You are making The decision to get a Hunter easier for me. Never seen one.
  17. I have been trying to talk myself into trying a Hunter. But in 10mm. The tuning at the factory, competition frame, and of course SA trigger all make this a potentially great range gun. I have a Match with 9 and 10mm slides. It is very accurate and a sweet shooter. The standard Witness is a step down. I purchased a 9mm/22LR combo. Came with a different slide stop spring to allow lock back on an empty mag with the 22LR. When shooting both the Standard and Match with 9mm it was not a contest. The SA trigger, longer barrel, and better sights on the Match made the 100.00 price difference a no brainer. The Match used to be priced 100.00 more than a standard Witness. Think mine was 580.00 from Oakhill.
  18. I put a set of Nill Griffe grips for a CZ-97 on my Match. Made a nice mag well. Plus really good walnut grips. Have a set on a Witness 22LR conversion too. Both required a little fitting. Beveled the bottom to function as a magwell.
  19. Hard audience. But I am still more accurate with 9mm than 10mm. It will require more practice to prevent flinching with full power 10mm loads. Especially after 50 - 100 rounds.
  20. Guess I need to get one for my CZ’s. The tighter bushing can help seperate my issues from the guns.
  21. Is this resolved? I really like the looks and availability. Looked where I gave purchased a few EAA guns and the P-Match Pro shown today is SA,has a Magwell, and no rail. Better than a Glock is saying a lot.
  22. Excuse my grammar. Must have been thinking of something else while typing.
  23. I like to think I shoot 9 better. At least after several clips. Have to really concentrate to prevent flinching after 50 rds of 10 in a short period.
  24. That is a lot of 10’s. Is this due to availability of 10’s or is this the caliber you prefer?
