  1. www.benstoegerproshop.com is a good one stop shop for pretty much anything competition shooting related. I usually recommend their full BOSS rig for a belt/holster combo. I run 17rd mecgars for mags with the Henning pro basepads. Springs from CZC or Cajun are good. I run the Cajun 11.5#hammer spring, 11# recoil, and the extended firing pin w/ spring. The stock grips are pretty garbage imo. LOK or Henning are both nice. There are other optional things you can throw money at, but expect diminishing returns very quickly. The consensus of the GMs around me that use a Shadow 2 for what it "needs" are hammer spring, recoil spring, and decent grips. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  2. Dawson you can choose the width and height. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  3. Poorly worded WSB. We've started using stuff like "wholly inside" to leave no ambiguity. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  4. This. A lot of guys who live in C class will give you a laundry list of things you have to spend money on to have the most impressive gun at the safe table. 11# recoil, 11.5# hammer spring, and a set of decent grips. That's the most bang for your buck. After that you hit diminishing returns fairly quickly. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah I made sure to tell them I wanted it for CO and to do whatever lightening was needed. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  6. Good to know. CZC emailed me today that my slide was ready. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  7. We replaced our Nooks with Fire HD 8s last Black Friday. The only real downside is the screen glare. Also one slightly annoying thing with them is that won't auto reconnect to a WiFi network that doesn't have an internet connection (assume something due to the ads). Overall they get enough battery for a full day's worth of use and are much faster to sync with my master iPad than the Nooks. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  8. At the Feb 2018 BoD meeting Appendix D4 for Production was updated. These changes went into effect 3 months later per the bylaws. Change log and meeting minutes can be found at: https://uspsa.org/bod_minutes Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  9. I've had both. I liked everything about the Hennings better, but I just wanted them thicker. Ended up back with the Lok Shadow 2 palmswells. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  10. My first real foray with a dot will be this winter so my opinion might change over the next 2-3 months. I'll definitely be going back to my Production guns come spring to get ready for BITB. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  11. All down to preference. Depending on the optic I haven't thought any plate system guns sat them too high. I did think my buddies sp01 with the dovetail mount sat too high, but he doesn't mind it. Also open gun dots sit way higher. It's all about adjusting your index. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  12. When I talked to them a month ago they said they could also do a window cut in the slide for lightening. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  13. My S2 slide is at CZC for this same reason. I didn't want to be locked into one optic. If that isn't a concern I've heard Cajun Gun Works and Primary Machine also do a very good job on slide milling. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  14. We've had stages tossed. We've had to convert classifiers into normal stages because an error wasn't caught until halfway through. Usually if someone is willing to arb over something they're usually right and the MD just lets a reshoot. Otherwise we have enough certified people to convince whomever they'd just lose the arb. 15. Basically. Make sure it'll spin freely. I'll be very surprised if it does though. The only bullets I've seen able to load kind of long in a CZ have been the Gallants. Everything else needs to be shorter. Which doesn't really seem to affect anything. Shorten it up and maybe drop your load a tenth. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  16. I've always used 11s. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  17. You might need to shorten up your OAL. I could only go to 1.12 when using round nose bullets. Plunk test your barrel. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  18. Federal Syntech Atlanta Arms T1 ammunition NC Shooter's Supply (quality reloads) I've found my Shadow 2 likes 124s. I've tried 135s and 147s, but I also reload. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

But do the mags still rattle when full? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  20. I believe they also show pending until the host club has paid the fees. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

  22. I think you quickly hit diminishing returns when shooting at speed. I went from an Accushadow with a fully worked over trigger from CZC to a Shadow 2 with just a lighter hammer spring. Most of the difference you'll notice is when you're finger banging it at the safe table. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  23. a very special friend. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  24. I've been using the Cajun springs for a few years. You can run the Shadow 2s completly stock if you wanted it's all preference. All pistols have wear parts that need replacing if you shoot enough. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  25. There's been quite a few times in Production and Single Stack where the best plan had you going to slide lock. Hicap divisions generally don't have to deal with it. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
