  1. Seems like they used to get a shipment in very infrequently, now it feels like 5-6 times a year. Hard to make $ speculating in Tanfo stock futures when supply is up.
  2. Funny, my new stock 2 is so tight it won't hardly cycle. Pulling the slide back slowly to pop out the release results in the slide staying 1/4" back. And it would not go forward unless pulled full back the let go. I've been spending time polishing and smoothing to get it looser!
  3. I haven't seen much about the EG xtreme disco. Anyone using? I'm AssUme-ing pretty much same as cgw disco benefits w less trouble installing? Did try to find info, but suffer from weak googlefu I ordered up an xtreme-ish package for a new S2. Disco, sear, firing pin safety, titan hammer (w spare strut and pins) already have Henning FP and 13# hammer spring. Obligatory picture...
  4. That's ok, brass gnomes are too fast for box traps anyway.
  5. Thanks, now to mug a gnome and steal his stash of parts!
  6. Do those sock gnomes have range relatives? I lost 2 live rounds after showing clear last night...
  7. Funny threadjack... First time taking my xdm apart, the cocked indicator bushing went pzzzzing!, past my ear at the speed of sound. Looked everywhere and under everything. Pffft! Gone. Later found it in a partially open box on a top shelf across the room. And partially open was just barely enough room for the part to squeeze in.
  8. You mean I'm not the only amateur gunsmith magician that can make parts vanish into thin air, Poof! Gone, never to be seen again...until the magic words are uttered. "Oh good, the replacement parts have arrived", then the missing one magically reappears!
  9. Ha! Like normal, I get impatient ask a questions and the status shifts to "shipped"! I paid the extra for quicker shipping, now to patiently wait..... excuse me while I check the mailbox...again.
  10. Any recent info on how long they take to process orders and get them shipped? My order has been in "we got yo money" status ... I hope that doesn't meat stuff went out of stock! It would be odd if it took longer to get the go fast bits than it did to get the stock2! (picking up the gun today )
  11. Just got a call from the LGS, an italian beauty is there waiting to be picked up and fondled... Oh, an the stock 2 I ordered came in too! But, I can't get there till tomorrow
  12. There is a how to vid on Hennings site that shows putting the trigger back in. It's a lot harder than he shows! Or maybe it's just im incompetent? lol. I use a short section of a nail that is sharply pointed on one end as the slave pin. That's the trick that makes it less frustrating.
  13. I have xxl hands and ride the safety w the thumb. Always have, maybe the rest of my grip is wrong? Lol.
  14. For my match 40, I got mags from midway. Same price 25$ and they did ship fast.
  15. Probably took time to swap it for a highpoint... Fortunately it was stock 2 She's a beauty ; Trigger pull is not as bad. Front sight is thick. probably about 9 pd double action and 4 pd SA. Nice! Glad it wasn't a high point! Now my wait continues.... endlessly...
  16. Probably took time to swap it for a highpoint...
  17. Lucky you! Mines on a foot sore centipede and won't get here till Thursday or maybe Monday next week
  18. Not everything, a stock 2 in .40 is heading my way.
  19. Ummmm, I think we WON'T be serving steak tonight :puke:
  20. Ammo, gas, range fees, etc etc are the pit money goes in endlessly.
  21. Ordered a couple things and they shipped the next day. Nothing but good imho.
  22. I'll second ert7, but at minor power it isn't clean and it's pretty variable in speed.
  23. I used to have loads of problems with 9mm then realized the crimped primer pockets were doing the dirt. Sorted them out, went from 1:20 primer fails to 1:100. And EVERY FAIL WAS A MISSED CRIMPED POCKET. Did 500 with no fail. But had 350+ crimped brass. Used a carbide bit to slightly chamfer the pockets, reloaded them with no fails.
