  1. Other things to remember, if you build your own, you need a vice, upper receiver vice block, torque wrench, and an ar multi tool. Those cost money, but once you buy them, you can build your own anytime you want. I built my last upper. Supreme satisfaction knowing why things work the way that they do
  2. Yeah as much as my schedule allows. Planning on going to Dothan this Sunday
  3. Welcome from southwest Georgia. You ever plan on going to Dothan or tallahassee for a match?
  4. I wonder how much of the shortage has to do with more people reloading now? I mean when shooters couldn't find loaded ammo on the shelves, they decided to but reloading equipment to load their own. I've been shooting heavily since 04 or so, but didn't start reloading until after 08 after the original ammo and gun shortage
  5. I actually won a random in my first GSSF match in August. Just sent my certificate off for a Glock 30s.
  6. For an ar15 I use it religiously during the break in process. For pistols, never.
  7. Ok, got you, appreciate your hard work on that! Kind of interesting to see folks like Dave S. Doing that much better with a second bite at the Apple
  8. Just so you know, the overall production numbers don't work, shows open results instead
  9. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=109493&page=10#entry2231819 That's a thread to the transition drill thread. Helped me out a lot. Btw, don't be surprised if this thread didn't get moved.

That's interesting! I wonder how much weight was saved? Any way to weigh each slide?
  11. It is the United States PRACTICAL Shooting Association. There may be a time in which your back is to a target and you have to turn and draw simultaneously. Can someone screw it up? Sure... But let's not over regulate.
  12. It well be interesting to see how EG's points and times differ from open to production. I would guess that he was practicing production leading up to the world shoot, and then to switch to open just for the US match. Same stages correct?
  13. Nope, I had the same issue the other day when searching for the stereoscopic thread
  14. Mrs Glock is suing Mr Glock for half a billion dollars
  15. Can't believe Jerry miculek calls the walking dead a soap opera! Headshots with Walking Dead Weaponry! | Gun Myths:
  16. Your barrel, chamber and breech face contain the pressures under combustion, and those are steel regardless of what the rest of the gun is made of. Polymer pistols are not inherently weaker than steel or alloy ones in this regard. I think he is saying that if the barrel chamber and breech face give way to a rupture, a metal framed gun would offer more protection to your hand and chest than a polymer framed gun.
  17. Dre how effective was the pretravel adjustment?
  18. The very first episode... The pilot. His name is Morgan, the man that saves Rick and Rick gives him a radio and tells him to turn it on at dawn everyday. Rick later found him in the town where Morgan had all the booby traps set up when Rick, michonne, and Carl were out scavenging for guns.
  19. I had a problem at my last major with my Glock jamming with one hand operation, which I attributed to a weak grip. Mentioned it to one off Glock's armorers, as in works for Glock as an armorer, and he suggested I such my thumb straight up when shooting one handed. Haven't tried it live fire yet, but in dry fire it really solidified my trigger pull
  20. When was the last time Mississippi state was the number one team in the country? This season is getting mighty interesting
  21. Plus Georgia in the sec championship game! Maybe we will have a full team bY the end if the year! Think we are losing two a week to suspension
  22. In Georgia state championship this year, had to shoot a Texas star while holding a rope to open a port. Wasn't quite one handed, but support hand was merely only able to touch/support the gun, not hold it
  23. The main problem I run into is that my left index finger doesn't bend at the knuckle. As a result, when I shot weak handed, I grip with bottom two finger, squeeze trigger with middle finger, but index sits along the top of the frame. With the recoil, it sometimes pushes the slide release up.
