Really fun match. I had a horrible start, but it was all down hill after the first stage.

147 bayou bullets with 2.9 grains of Titegroup makes right at 128-130 of out if my 17. That load was tested on 2 different chronograph. Out of a 19 it was just low at 123 pf

I prefer the drive. I've got Alabama heart odd Dixie next week. Plan on leaving the house at 430 to get to the match by 8. 3 hours of driving gives me time to relax and get in my Zen state.

But I would use someone's chronograph to make sure

Local shop in Moultrie, Ga has 8 pound jugs of red dot green dot, and numerous 1 pound jugs of silhouette. Plus, titewad and Longshot in one pound containers. Said they had power pistol, Titegroup, and"clays" coming in later in the week as well!

I believe Dothan is CST. It is, busy east Alabama gun club is in central time but they use eastern time for match announcements.

I got a pair of flak jacket xlj for Valentine's day with the prism lenses. Worked great since I had lasik surgery the day before. Been wearing the prism lenses ever since, including the last two days while on patrol. Definitely makes some colors pop

One other option is just to but a used Glock 22 barrel. A good Glock barrel will easily last 20k rounds. When I set up my 17c for production, I posted a wtb thread here for a oem 17 barrel. Got one for 60 bucks and have seen them for sale for 45 since then

I wouldn't worry about the lighter side. Think about it this way, a lot of people pay good money to have a slide lightened on their Glock out 2011.lighter slide, faster cycle!

My minor load is 2.9 grains behind a 147 grain bayou bullet. Think it choreographed at 128 pf. But I also use a 13 pound sporting in my Glock 17. With the stock spring I think it ejected about 2 inches from the gun! Hehe
