  1. I run a Glock 35 in limited. I have had on a few occasions, bumped my slide release while shooting causing my slide to lock back prematurely. I know quite a few people don't run slide releases on their 2011s, but is there any reason not to run one on a Glock?
  2. Since your interested in gssf uses, I look at it this way. You can use the 17 for unlimited, competition, civilian. Can't use it for subcompact, heavy metal or major sub. Thusly, I would get a 45 or 10 mm, just so you can shot the heavy metal division. Might even get a baby 45 which you could use in almost everything
  3. I don't think it's because gun people don't know what an hk is. Most gun nuts know hk it's top notch. I think it's mostly because your a female and machismo dictates we have to tell you about manly things, like guns, football, and burping! I think the second thing is just human nature. Whatever equipment I use is the best so everyone needs to use it
  4. The 1911 can only be used in, SS, limited, limited 10, and open, but most commonly used in single stack and limited 10. Can't have a single action only gun in production. So leave witness as your production gun. As for limited minor, it's not necessarily a bad thing. The usual trade off is that you get more rounds, but you won't have that because you have the 15 round mags. Don't worry about score, just worried about safety. that needs to be priority number one

    Glock porn

You can call it plastic, I'll call it sexy!
  6. If you only have 2 or 3 magazines, limited. If you have 5 or 6, go ahead and shoot production. Don't worry about score. Concentrate on safety. Ask as many questions as you need. Have fun, enjoy
  7. Seems nice in theory. But I would hazard a guess that a stock sp-01 shadow shoots better than my limited Glock.
  8. What about revolver, 6 or 8 rounds, double action triggers, no magazines! And my actual answer is that they are all equally hard.
  9. Best part of this thread is counting how many I've seen in person!
  10. Any way to tell the difference between comfort-tech stock and American stock? If I get it, I will stick with the 28 inch barrel. The way I see it, shouldn't be much longer than the tube I put on it
  11. As a little background, a couple years ago, I was the lucky winner of a Beretta xtrema 2 in a raffle. Only used it twice in 2 years. I've been shooting USPSA for a couple of years and have been thinking of 3 gun. After a little research, sold the Xtrema 2 with the intention of getting a 1301 comp. Fast forward to yesterday and run into my local shop and discover that they have a used Benelli m2 on the shelf for 700 bucks. All I know about it from looking at it for a second is that it's black, 12 guage, and 28 inch barrel. I know it did not have a pistol grip or ghost sights. From speaking to the salesman, it seems they don't know much about the history of the gun. It's there anything I need to look for, steer away from, etc. When trying to decide whether to buy the gun or not?
  12. I believe Harrison of ARP makes some pretty good tunable brakes and he uses that thread size
  13. You can definitely tell that they are missing two starters on the deffensive line. Add to that the horrible calls going against each team and it is mighty ugly

    TUL 9MM Ammo

Do a cost benefit analysis. Say it takes 5k rounds to wear out a barrel and an extractor. Also say you save 5 bucks a box over your second choice. Well over the course of 5k rounds, 100 boxes of ammo, you save 500 bucks. Take 150 for a new barrel and 30 for a new extractor and throw in another 20 for a new ejector. Then take the other 300 and spend on hookers and beer!
  15. Me personally, about 35 yards, but only because that's the distance from the bench to the target racks. I would prefer about 25 yards though

    Holster Wear

My personal philosophy is that guns are tools, and as such, tools get messed up. If I buy a gun that I worry about dropping in the mud or shooting in the rain, I generally leave it in the safe and never fire it
  17. You have to go to TNSection championship page on Facebook, then go to user post. I have no clue how to link from my app
  18. Looked like a negligent discharge on the draw. Judging by the dust that shot up, almost looks like the bullet hit between his feet.
  19. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/catalog/product/view/id/18136/s/psa-engraved-glock-barrel-17-9mm-threaded/ Appears that Palmetto state armory has stepped into the Glock barrel market. Seems like a limited selection now, Glock 17 and 19, threaded only, in SS or black
  20. Practiscore? Works on Apple and android
  21. http://brianenos.com/store/be.scale_pd.html .02 grains accurate and sold on this site. Plus out has a lifetime warranty. I don't have it yet, but it's on my Christmas list!
  22. I use a Glock 35. My method is as such. I load one specially marked magazine with 20 rounds and the rest with 19. I then Barney mag to start if needed so I start the stage with 21 and reload with 19s easily. Really came as an advantage at Georgia state with the 20 round course of fire

    Zev Magwell

Mine moves on my gen 4. My first gen 4 magwell was the first type that they produced, and it didn't flex. But I sheared the bolt head off where the base connects to the plug. I called and tried to get a new plug, but they had redesigned the magwell since my first one and the plug and bolt are now different. Wound up getting a steep discount under warranty.
