I'm in southwest Georgia. Only one uspsa match in Tallahassee and that is at talon. TRPC dies steel and bianchi cup I believe. The next two closest matches are Dothan which holds monthly uspsa, 3 gun, tactical pistol (idpa without their rules), and I think steel. The this portion is Gainesville

Since someone brought this thread back, I will say this, I've read the rules and see that he shouldn't have gotten a reshoot. That being said, he was only shooter in revolver division and it was a classifier match, so no effect on other shooters as far as placement go

So you're the legend the RO's were speaking of, the kid who face planted, kept the barrel at a cool 175 degrees and still ran a fast time! I'll also say it was by far the hardest match I've ever shot. 130 penalty points including one no shoot on the classifier, 11 wide open targets that decided they wanted to be shot more than once, and a popper a major power factor 180 grain 40 wasn't enough to put him down.... Although the sub minor 9mm was enough. The shot was a tad tad bit low though. Amazingly enough, I hit every single swinger, drop turner, max trap, and bobber without penalty, so that's some reward. Can't wait for next year, I know what I need to work on.

Point the gun at the roof, pull the slide back and slowly walk it forward. As you get close to the slide gong all the way guard, let it go. Make sure it locks up all the way. If it doesn't fully lock up, can cause the gun to fire out if Barry, which can really be disastrous

Each user had a different preference. Most style with a 15 pound, but your mileage may vary. I bought a 13-17 and experimented until I was happy. Just make sure that gun passes the vertical test after each spring

I would guess most match directors don't send in 0 percent scores. I know they have to pay for the classifieds to be sent it. Why pay for something like a 0

Check out a gssf match. The guys from Glock were selling used mags for 10 bucks a piece. I stocked up on 17 mags

Since you do not see the need to carry a small 9mm pistol does not mean everyone feels that way? Not what I was getting at. There are plenty of places to discuss carry needs and the guns best suited to carry. Isn't this a place to talk competitions? Or are we gonna go for a pocket carry division now that Glock and Taurus have new offerings? Would it make you feel better if we talked about how this gun will dominate gssf against the g36 and g42

Mark, thanks for running a great match. Definitely learned a lot while shooting Friday. Learned a lot more on Saturday. My only complaint is I was stuck ROing stage 2 Saturday after pretty much zeroing it out on Friday! Talk about an all day reminder!
