Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I use every type of brass. I only separate by crimp primers or not. Other than that I shoot it all.
  2. Don't record without permission and definitely do NOT post it on the internet. Some might like that and to others it may be a hazard.
  3. I used to use power pistol but it was loud, flashy, and dirty. Also the recoil was terrible (compared to clays, claydot, and even tite group). When used at the lower end of the powder charge I used to get unburned powder flakes on my hands and forearms. But this was years ago so maybe something changed.
  4. My SP-01 will also load out to 1.18 with the Xtreme 147 and 165. But beware that at this length you run a chance of accidentally activating the slide stop, locking the slide to the rear. Ask me how I know . This is the reason that many people will ream the barrel and reshape the slide lock to accept long loaded ammo. My load data Xtreme 147 .357 Titegroup 3.21 grain 1.145 OAL federal 100 SPP average velocity- 884 es-58 sd-17 power factor-130
  5. I'm in NW Florida. Honestly there are not many USPSA matches around here in Florida. People travel to Dothan, and Tri state gun club in Alabama. A range I'm a member of, K&M shooting center held a USPSA match last month and my continue to do so once a month. car pool is always an option.
  6. Looks good man. Doing all of your work on a manual mill? No cnc or DRO?
  7. I've found them to be charge for charge the same.
  8. Wow, good to have an alternative. I usually go federal but i would like to try others that work. How many did you test out? I have fired all 500 And 1000 more. I have had zero light strikes. I recently picked up 15000 more. I will continue to use the WPA primers for training and federal for big matches.
  9. I was given 500 WPA primers. And amazingly with the 8.5 hammer spring they all went off first time no problem. I might never buy another federal primer.

Competition gun or not that is flat out legit. How do you plan to carry it?
  11. I have found the thicker the more accurate. That is why i use .357 diameter.
  12. I use a 10 pound recoil spring.
  13. I buy plated bullets for practice and small local matches. I don't have any problems with accuracy. I usually use Xtreme .357 diameter. But have been looking into the thick plated bullets from RMR bullets because they are usually cheaper.
  14. Zero JHP 147 3.2 gr Titegroup 1.145 oal Federal 100 primers 130 power factor 885 fps at 10 feet
