  1. I'd say more grass and dirt. Can't remember ever having to clean my 1911 mags in a match.
  2. Apparently Jeremy Brannon is cooking, owner of Jabs steel, so I'm sure it will be good. Him and his dad are the ones who cooked the whole hog at the steel challenge match last year.
  3. Wish I could have shot it since it's really local to the house, but alas, duty called.maybe next year it will be on my off weekend
  4. Try to plan on it next year Iknow it's an hour further away than Phenix city, but should be with it. I know from talking to Dan, that next year he wants to do a little social gathering like the gator and Mississippi.
  5. Someone mentioned a junior shooter earlier who got bumped to open at nationals I believe. I think the reason is he pout a magazine in his front pocket, which bumped him to open
  6. Use PRI mags in my duty gun but play with the cproducts ones when I don't care about dropping then
  7. makes sense on a lightweight Glock, dunno about that on a 2011 though
  8. The only reason it is not legal is because it isn't on the list. If Smith and Wesson will submit the paperwork, it will be legal
  9. The MOS Glock models have been added to the production approved list. If you are wanting to shoot a ported model of a s&w, I suggest you email s&w and get them to submit the paperwork for it to be approved. That's what I did to get the MOS approved.
  10. Guess it's a good match when I see my name on the list twice. Be a little harder next year, sure I'm jumping a class after this match.
  11. Wow, great match and the staff was awesome. Only blew one stage out my butt, we shall see how my score holds up

    Glock 40 MOS 10mm

The problem would be making a 9mm magazine the dimensions of a 10 magazineOh yeah. Didn't think about that. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk It has been done, think someone converted a 10 to a 38 super a while back. Have to Google search it though

    Glock 40 MOS 10mm

The problem would be making a 9mm magazine the dimensions of a 10 magazine
  14. It looks cool, but I would have to try it to see if I cared for it or not
  15. Well I made b class in production, but now I'm switching back to limited. Shouldn't be long to make b in limited though.
  16. Mike I should be able to help out on Thursday. Think I'm coming into town on Wednesday.
  17. Wow... Just wow. Here I figured people who want to advance the sport would want to actually advance the sport. He referenced where he got the video from for good sakes. Even uspsa put it on their Facebook page, trying to advance the sport, and had to take it down. Either someone wants to advance the sport or they don't, make up your minds.
  18. In match hit factor scoring -- looking only at Stoeger and Vogel, Vogel wins. In IDPA scoring, assuming I remember the numbers correctly Ben beats Bob by ~ 2 seconds. I calculated by taking their raw time, adding a 1/2 second for every Bravo or Charlie, 1.5 seconds for a Delta, and 2.5 for a Mike -- I think that's how it used to go. (I know -- no B hits in IDPA, but we're shooting USPSA, and I'm not about to redraw the targets....) The problem with that is, had Ben known they were using idpa scoring, his plan would have been adjusted. Look at the area 3 results. About the cleanest match result I've ever seen for point percentages

    Carry Optic P09

Yes, division maximum weight is 35 ounces I believe
  20. Those are legal in production provided the barrel ported barrel is replaced and this rule says if it's production legal then you should be good to go for CO. "Ported models are allowed providing that the barrel is non-ported and the other requirements are met." I think we need that one in writing, The PC CORE's have an external trigger overtravel stop that production CORE's dont. Might want to email dnroi@uspsa.org the m&m&p pro core is not on the approved list. Just like the 34 MOS isn't on the list... Yet
  21. By that logic Eric G and Ben Stoegers gun would have been adequate in limited. Think they both would have won standard at world shoot s
  22. And I emailed a contract at Glock, he forwarded it to appropriate division, but no weight listed yet
  23. The guns would have to be on the Production Gun List and be under the weight limit to qualify. I would expect that the MOS Glocks would be there soon, as they are essentially the same guns as their non-MOS counterparts I would not see any reason why they could not be added as a variant of the existing models. I've sent Troy an email and will post the response as/when I receive it. I emailed troy about MOS legality back in June when I got mine. This was his response "The model is already approved; all I need is a weight (from Glock) with the blank plate mounted. I suspect there's probably no appreciable difference, but I still need it. There is no need to resubmit the Production approval paperwork. Regards, Troy"
