Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I haven't tried this yet, but I've used a lot of MOA Precision parts. He will install an XS rear sight on your barrel rib.
  2. I've got one in a gen3 Glock 19. Bought it cheap from a buddy that didn't like it. After I first installed it, the trigger pull felt similar to factory except the shoe felt good. Long pre-travel and reset. I fit an Evo-Elite connector and dropped in a NY1 spring. Feels better now, but not worth retail price. The best part about it, is that it looks cool, and looking cool is half the battle. I prefer a polished G17 trigger, Apex, or Overwatch over it.
  3. Yeah it will run. If you like to tweak things, change out parts, build your own. I prefer Taccom parts over everything else. Taccom stuff works and when you use it you can tell it was made by someone who actually shoots. In my eyes, a lower is a lower. A quality trigger, bcg, and tuned recoil system goes a long way.
  4. I got my delayed buffer in. Took the weight out of my Taccom BCG, screwed my buffer tube in a few turns, dropped in (2) quarters, then put the put the delayed buffer in. Cycles pretty good, double-taps felt solid, it just felt more harsh than the Taccom 3-stage buffer that I am using. No bumpfires with my Hiperfire Eclipse Trigger. Maybe it needs some break-in time. I only put 50 rounds through it. I took it out and returned my setup back to the way it was. I'm building a .45 PCC, I'll probably just use it in that.
  5. Just out of curiosity, what trigger are you using. I just got my buffer in, going to test it out this week.
  6. What buffer setup are you going with? I haven't tried a 2-stage trigger with any setup, not sure if it would give you any trouble or not.
  7. Tim, What size mid-brake extension are you running (5.5", 6")? Also, any eta on the recoil cushion? I'm in the market for a backup PCC, and may run an AKV or a Ruger PC. Thanks
  8. I am running one in an Aero Precision slick side stripped upper, Taccom Extreme 9mm BCG, standard carbine buffer tube, Taccom buffer system, PSA Gen 2 lower, POF Trigger. Been shooting WWB, Federal aluminum case, and 115g Syntech through it. No malfunctions. This barrel eats like Joey Chestnut in a Nathan's Hotdog Competition.
  9. Thanks. I like the link in your sig that takes you to the USPSA ratings. As soon as I get classified I will do the same.
  10. Haha. Thanks. I've had this handle for years. It started as my Gamertag (After my old one "Wesley Sniper" got banned) and has been go to screen name for everything to make life easier.
  11. Hey Boss, welcome my fellow Augustan to the BE Universe. You can take this wealth of information you have gleaned here and deploy it at Pinetucky Gun Club. We host USPSA, 3-Gun , PPC .IDPA and soon to have Steel Challenge matches. Will do. I have shot some matches there before, but it has been awhile. I've never shot Steel Matches, but look forward to it. I used to enjoy the Tactical Shotgun matches that Bill Zolo would put on. Get to exercise the HD Shotty and enjoy a great bowl of chili afterwards. Do they still have those going on?
  12. I have been reading lots of threads on here and finally decided to join to enable all of the features (especially the search feature). Just getting back into shooting after a 5-year hiatus and I enjoy the wealth of information that I have received on here.
