I shoot limited major with my Glock 35 and tac ops in three gun. Do you think there is a justification to keep a g34 and a g35? I am considering selling my g34.
I am in Lincoln so we aren't to far apart. There doesn't seem to be enough people from the Midwest on here so I figured I'd represent. I shoot USPSA and three gun as well.
New to the forums and thought I could get some great advice from the community on my shotgun and pistol. I have a a Versamax Tactical and a Glock 34 and 35. Is there a reason to shoot the 35 over the 34? Also what modifications to I need to do to each?
It may be late but it will save at least $150 bucks for those who want a slide mounted optic. I would still prefer a frame mounted optic anyway though...
Mark me down for a TTI now. I'm assuming that making them for a gen 4 with a large back strap is even harder? I would love a super heavy that works with a large blackstrap but no one currently makes them! You guys should be the first!
I cut a 45 degree angle to take a total of an 1/3 of and inch. It helped out and still looks good. I took a Dremel and smoothed everything after the chop saw. It looks as though it's factory.
I have a bladetech belt. It is awesome and after two years of use it is still holding up well. I put Velcro behind all of my tech-loks to ensure the don't move once I connect the two together.
There are different size grips that should allow you to run either. More magazine capacity =more fun. Starting with a division that requires more reloads to get more proficient is usually a good idea as well!
I run a Zev ultimate with a wolf spring 4lb spring with CCI primers without a single light primer strike. The over travel adjustment makes the trigger worth while. It is easier to shoot faster with this trigger in my experience.
So the gen 4 frame worked on the gen 3 slide? I was by several people that a gen 1-3 are compatible but gen 4 will not function. I was told the gen 4 slide tabs are a litte more narrow and it would ruin the frame after a couple rounds.
I bough a 12" x12" piece of skateboard tape which I was able to cut three out of for a dollar. I am still on the first set after six months without an issue with it sticking or any sign of wear.
