  1. I shot about 5,000 rounds before switching barrels. I switched because I wanted to see the difference and in my experience I have noticed a difference in accuracy OR reliability. I think from know on I will be sticking with the stock barrels unless it's a conversion barrel. I prefer my g35 with a lone wolf conversion barrel over my g34. I liked it so much I am selling my g34 soon!
  2. I'm at 3 seconds if I want to hit he A zone MOST of the time. This is a great drill for practicing drawing as well as transitioning between targets.
  3. 100 yards with a 9mm. I have never attempted anything further or considered it but this forum has peaked my interest. I will report back after attempting further out.
  4. Incorporating a slide lock, tactical reloads, loading one dummy round into a mag, as well as shooting from standing, kneeling, and behind cover.
  5. This is a great read. I became more active in pistol shooting this year and have really realized how important the walk through is. Having that plan down and sticking to it is the best advice for a new shooter.
  6. That is an awesome opening job. I spent about 6 hours doing my own which looks almost as good. Opening the front another 1/8 of an inch made a huge difference when loading quads. I average about 2 seconds faster on a load twelve drill since the mod. I also ground a moon shape into the feed latch with helped it as well. I gave everything a nice polish job and it now loads way easier than a benelli M2. Just my two cents.
  7. I have not used a KKM conversion barrel but I have used a lone wolf g35 barrel without switching anything but the barrel and had zero issues in the first 500 rounds. I have even shot a couple magazines with 9mm loaded in the 40 magazine without an issue. Is there a reason a majority shoot KKM over lone wolf?
  8. I had the same issues as you, I ended up buying a wolf spring 4lb and it works great. The Zev spring for the 2lb pull is considered a 4 lb spring as well but apparently the wolf 4lb is a little stronger. I have not had a problem for 500 rounds so far!
  9. I used an induction heater and a strap wrench. It came off pretty easy. It had a lot of locktite on it but nothing else crazy. The warning must be to increase sales like their proprietary rail spacing.
  10. have an Rock River R3 that I want to swap out the muzzle brake for an SJC Titan. There is a big warning on Rock River's website stating that only they can take the muzzle brake off because it's tuned and ported. The customer service center stated I would ruin the threads by trying to remove it myself. Which doesn't make sense to me. Just curious if anyone has removed their own or if it's really necessary to send it to get it removed.

  12. Can you explain more about fitting a trigger? How and the process?
  13. I am using LAX reloads. Which use CCI primers.
  14. I did get the Zev extended striker. I have had 4/150 malfunction rate so far, which is unacceptable. I bought the trigger to have the lightest trigger not to have a lightened trigger. Trying to get the best of both worlds.
  15. I bought a Zev trigger and want to use the 2 lb striker spring. I use CCI primers which cause a lot of light primer strikes. Has anyone used CCI primers with a pyramid trigger? Thinking about returning my Zev for a pyramid. Just wondering if this will fix the problem?
  16. Can someone possibly measure their feed latch roll pin? I was polishing my feed latch and lost the pin in the process. I have a match in a week and cannot wait for one to ship.if you could possible give me the diameter and length! It is part number 26 in the Versamax manual.
