Thanks for posting the vid Micah, At least you got the one good stage I shot that match! I just didn't take it serious or just wasn't into it that day? I have noticed over the last few matches that I'm getting sloppy, missing wide open targets and having terrible groups. I need to take some good advice and slow down and take a step back.
  4. A little late, Merry Christmas to all.
  5. Ahhhhh-----Why don't you just shoot it from the right or left of the box so you can shoot T2 past the popper? It doesn't say you have to shoot from box A. It says you have to engage the targets from "the shooting area", but does not designate Box A as the shooting area. Bill I would shoot it T1 PP1 T2 T3. Or reverse. I don't think the US popper will need to fall to see T2 since they are 5 feet tall. I would also do this from the Box A since by the rulebook you may NOT game a classifier stage. PS T3 T1 PP1 T2 seems like a good choice too Thanks Bill
  6. 08-04 Seven, Looks Like a fun one. What do you think, shoot the popper first or go back to get T2?
  7. Just to give you a heads up, this Monday the 17th will be a fun shoot! We will be using a range Revolver and your own pistol shooting just around fourteen rounds. We do this on are fun shoots so we can get done early like around 7:00, so we can go out for wings and beer. I would hate for anybody too make a trip for so little shooting, But you all are welcome. The next two weeks we don’t have any matches for the Holidays, we will be starting back up every Monday on Jan 7th It’s a great time; we generally shoot about 65 to 75 rounds. -Robert

Monday night match 11/26/07 It was a good match, my game plan was a little off but I still felt smooth. My longer range shots are getting faster with good hits. I seem to be beating better shooter a little more often now; it makes me wont to practice a little more it is good to feel progress. Even thou Im setting up the match, running a good number of shooters and tearing down. with some very good and dedicated people I have too add, it takes 5 or so hours every Monday, Im still having fun I just hope I will not get burned out. I don’t see it happing yet but it is in the back of my mind. I will have to keep it in check. Robert

Nov 19 2007 It’s been sometime since my last entry, I need to work on that. Tonight’s Monday night match was a fun one. A nice mix of targets, with a drop tuner. The last two matches I felt I shot well, but in both matches I had one mike on wide open targets. The bigger concern is that I didn’t call either mikes, and was surprised to see them. I did think I was getting better at calling my shot. I read somewhere on this forum that if you are getting the occasional mike, it means you are pushing, and it’s not such a bad thing. It does still bother me that I’m not calling them. Well it’s something to keep working on. Robert
  14. You kicked Quickly II A$$ nice job!!
