+10 I would advise this route as well. With minor tweaking you can get the trigger pull to a practical weight and there is the option of using the bb's for more feedback. If you have a backyard or basement- you are golden! The bulk of my training has been with airsoft lately, and I must say I am impressed with these units. I have experienced better reliability than the .22 conversions I have used and airsoft if a far cheaper solution when you take into account not having to drive to a range to shoot them. Just some food for thought...

Ditto- it feels most natural and is faster than gripping the rear of the slide for me.

Yeah- I think that the external view is more benefitial from a training tool standpoint. But it is helpful to see the behind the gun view also. It is nice to have options.

I havn't had any problems with mine and there are several places online to buy them still. I have been able to find them for under $300 every time someone askes where to get one. YMMV

I just have to add the title, description and category when I upload to YouTube. YouTube even gives you a nice personalized page to organize your vids...

Yep I use a Samsung SC-X210L. Probably the easiest, no hassle hatcam on the market. With many more features to make it very versatile. I have been using it for quite sometime and haven't had any problems with it. And as far as holding up the squad.... I would have to agree with Jim that there are far more people wasting time messing with there other equipment than people and their hatcams. But that is just my observations. I just bolt mine onto my hat brim using a 7/16" bolt. Or you can mount it to a tripod and have a 3rd party video you also....Shown on a mini-pod for demonstration purposes, it does mount to a standard tripod as well. Edited to add that my training videos on my YouTube page were videoed using this camera on a full sized tripod....

And hydrate properly! Them sports drinks aren't as good as 'ol fashion water bro...

Not sure about the belt feed for Sstk, but it is legal in Production. I am using the 773s. I tried the belt feed in Production and didn't really like it. Seem to be too congested when going for the mags. YMMV

Ditto I would go with a .090" Dawson fiber optic.

Or a good airsoft setup- even cheaper and you can shoot in your backyard. Saves time and gas- well gasoline...

Back again today with another video of Airsoft training. I worked on modified Vice Prez drills. The ones where you go to stronghand or weakhand only.
