  2. They should cut off his right hand if the catch him.
  3. I'd rathger spend time with my dogs than with anyone I know.
  4. If you decide to take no action now, reserve your rights for the future. I was in an accident where there seemed to be no problems immediately after the crash. It wasn't until several weeks later that symptoms appeared. Be cautious when asked to sign releases
  5. I usually mutter something about sacrificing chickens and burning the offal in an open fire....
  6. In nine days the 2008 rules become effective. Yesterday I received the NROI Review Exam for my RO certification. The instructions tell me to use the January 2004 rules for the test. Is that a little odd to anyone else but me? If I don't take the test until 2008, which I will probably do, am I not wasting my time? Seems a little useless to test on old rules when new rules will very soon be inplace. So it goes.
  7. We will take your rain if you don't want it.
  8. I pick up the brass that everyone leaves at the range after a match. For some people the cost of reloading components is not too high.
  9. Something like this should carry everything you need:
  10. The best thing about quitting is that you get to live longer. 20 years cigarette free.
  11. I like the What I Hate forum. I just gotta be careful not to get them confused.....
  12. And taken a lot of the people with it. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!! I've had to bite my tongue so frequently lately that it'll need stitches if I'm not careful. 'Nuf said!
  13. I've got about 24 hours of flying time ahead of me and want to purchase some noise-cancellation headphones. Other than the Bose headphones, which are too rich for me, are there any good choices that you have experience with? My price limit is less than 100.00 USD.

    Waiting

I have a friend waiting for lab test results to find out if her problem stems from thyroid malfunction or cancer. Proportion.
  15. You don't see that on your screen??????
  16. A business trip is taking me to Morocco in October and, as long as I'm going to be there anyway, I'm taking some time off for a holiday. What should I know before I go? What should I not miss? I'm not certain as this time where I will be for the work so I'm open to ideas.
  17. Maybe it is a regional thing, Duke's Mayo And, and peanut and dill pickle sandwiches with no mayo
  18. I don't clean entire firearms just parts, small parts. I use an inexpensive jewelry cleaner that I bought on the internet. I use Hoppes #9 as a solvent, blow the parts clean with a compressor. I really like the job it does. If I thought that I could afford a larger tank, I'd buy one.
  19. In graduate school my roomie was an animal control officer. I volunteered at the dog pound for two years. The biggest lesson that I learned was that we don't need "animal" control, we need "people" control.
  20. I'm leaving on the 25th for a week of work in Lyon. The food is absolutely wonderful. Kinda hate to come back to my wife's cooking. Since I work 12 hours a day there, food is all I have to look forward to.
  21. Joe D writes: "I would not live any more north than Tennessee or south than Montgomery, Al. Might go as far north as N.C." Please, Joe, look at a map. N.C. is EAST of Tennessee not NORTH.

    Slumlords

Long ago I had a similar problem, called the local housing authority, they came out and condemned the property. I had to move pronto. I did get my entire deposit refunded as well as prorated rent. A bit of a hassel, but I'm glad I did it. The other people in the building weren't too happy. After about a year with the property being vacant the owner sold the building and it was renovated as high dollar apartments. I still think it was the best thing to do as I found a better apartment and didn't have to put up with the problems.
