  1. I had the same problem with the lost pin. They sent a bag of new pins. Now I set the tension a little tighter so they don't fall out.
  2. When did they introduce a new follower? I bought a 140 mag in 40 6 weeks ago. im just curious.
  3. I bought a North Face large rain jacket with a hood. Going on second year and still looks good.
  4. I went to my local Pearle Vision with my gun and wow. That front sight is so clear now. Almost to clear. I wish I would have done this a couple of years back.
  5. The ones I'm looking for have the same appearance of an "open gun" C-Moore sight, some sort of comp on the barrel.
  6. A web site that sells rim fire open style guns.
  7. I shot my first steel match yesterday. I'm looking for information on a rim fire open gun. Thanks
  8. Really can't go wrong with Dillon 550b.
  9. I recently was not paying attention and put a partially loaded mag back on my belt. Boy was I surprised when I went dry on the last array of targets.
  10. Just saw this. Thanks for taking the time to post this info.

    How Come?

It has to do with trigger prep. The further the shot is, the magnification of any trigger prep or sight picture issues will show up.
  12. Thank You Like you, I agree that it is not a replacement for the rule book. It helps us be more efficient as an WORKING RO so we don't spend tons of time looking up the rule in a match. Keeps the match running smoothly. It also helps point out a rule when explaining a rule to someone, instead of "why don't you read the rule book." Thanks again!!
  13. I recently seen a RO cheat sheet that directed you to the specific rule in the rule book. Have not been able to find it. Does anybody know where I can find one?
  14. When I have the uncut fiber optic, it is very bright. When I install it, the brightness of the fiber optic deminishes greatly. Am I doing something wrong or is that what happens after installation? Thanks Mike
  15. I think the rule clearly states this. When I took my RO class, Goerge talked exactly to this. If he puts a rug down, it's a procedural. Rule 4.5.1
  16. I had a competitor want to place a rug in the shooting area because he want to drop his mag on it. I know you can not change the shooting area, but I was not able to find it in the rule book. Can you post the rule number for me? Thanks
  17. I am going to sketch out my matches tomorrow. I have the shooting positions determined and made the movie. I have determined that with my ability I have decided on 3 shooting positions. During the movies do I think shooting position 1, shoot 4 targets , 8 rounds then next position say 5 targets 10 rounds. ect. Now I'm called to" make ready." When the buzzer goes off and I advance to 1st shooting position do I think 4 targets 8 rounds? and so on. I know according to Steve you are only suppose to be calling your shoots "Conscious mind" I have been shooting for 2 years, Limited "C" and over 50 years, not that it matters but I want to but I want to be a "B" shooter. I even dry fire and practice on the range. I'm sure its different for each shooter, I'm just looking for what works for You
  18. I'm not sure if I blink. I'm going to set up a camera on my face when I shoot. I'm thinking that it's a possibility. Currently I double plug when I shoot now. Got any ideas if I blink
  19. I'm a C class Limited shooting for 15 months now. I still do not see the front sight lift and settle back into rear notch while shooting a match. I'm getting around 80 to 90 percent of the available points. I just hate walking with the RO and seeing a mike or even worse a no shoot. My plan is to see the sights lift and settle or call your shot but as of right now it eludes me when the buzzer goes off. I am not trying to go fast as a plan or my self talk. What drills can I do in dry fire or even live fire to help with me seeing the sights lift/settle before I break the next shot. What should I be thinking about when I step into the box. My focus is not going fast when I step into the box. I just want to see/call my shots in the match environment. Thanks
  20. That is very nice. How long did you make the drop leg for the weight

    On Paying Attention

Can someone provide the link to where "The set" is talked about
  22. I can't seem to find what I'm looking for and I'm sure it's here somewhere. I'm looking for ideas in help with how to commit a stage to memory. Besides just burn it in. I watch better shooters standing in the box and quickly moving their hands simulating shooting the cof. Are you seeing each target or going to each entry box and seeing the targets. I feel this is the next step for me to and would like some direction on how to do burn it in Thanks
