  1. CZ 75 SP-01, DA-7lb 4oz, SA-2lb 6oz, followed Atlas's guide here in the forum. I used the CZC comp hammer, CZ 85 trigger, CGW Reduced power TRS, CGW SRS-2 kit, CGW Type 2 Disco, along with a lot of polishing. I used the 11.5lb hammer spring from the SRS-2 kit. It was night and day difference from stock.

    CZ sp01 grips

I put the the full checker VZ's on mine, which I find very comfortable and have enough grip.
  3. What are you using for the tension screws on your blade tech? If I'm looking at them right, are they quickly adjustable like your CR pouches?
  4. Not sure. will do some investigating. If I'm not mistaken, isn't that something the CGW adjustable sear will take care of? I'm not 100% sure as I just fit my stock parts after my comp hammer install. You might look into that as another idea.
  5. Normal as others have mentioned.
  6. I messed around with this a couple of days ago. It seemed to shoot fine. I used the Titegroup data for a 125 lead bullet. It shot a little softer than my HP-38 load and wasn't dirty. Here are the numbers that I'm sticking with at the moment. All data is collected from my CZ SP-01. 124 gr Bayou RN 4.0gr Expansion Industries ETR7 Rem SPP C.O.L 1.150" AVG-1038 FPS ES-63 SD-16 Power Factor-128.712
  7. How does it meter? Just like water. It was my go-to powder for 9mm when it was plentyful. It always metered great, and produced some accurate loads. But these days its almost nonexistent at non-scalper prices.
  8. I had the APEX Comp AEK for my 9Pro that dropped the pull weight from about 6lbs to 2.75 lbs. I was also using the APEX aluminum trigger which felt a lot better that the factory hinged plastic one. I have used both the aluminum version and the polymer version of the APEX triggers, I personally thought the poly felt better on your finger.
  9. 3 out of 4 of my 140mm STI mags with Dawson S.N.L base pads and followers that hold 20 rattle when loaded to capacity. They work fine and I haven't had any malfunctions because of it. I even have Sig P226 mags that will get to rattling when they are loaded full. Shouldn't be an issue for you.
  10. I would use your SA. I have a 5" Spartan 9mm. The barrel looks as if someone ran a dull drill bit through the bore. I sent it back and they said all the barrels they had looked the same or worse. There were tool marks all over the underside of the barrel also. The grip safety wasn't blended well at all, it had a sharp edge that rode in the web of your hand. The extractor tension out of the box was horrible. Save your $750 for upgrades or put it towards a Trojan instead if you want STI.
  11. It happens that way sometimes, my CZ is the same as yours. I have a 5" Spartan that would easily make minor PF. When I picked up my SP-01, I tried that same load, it wouldn't even make minor. If I remember correctly the Spartan was somewhere around 129pf while the CZ was only 123pf with the same load.
  12. It could be numerous things. The length of the barrel probably plays into it a little bit. It could also be a differance of the diameter of the bore vs bullet sizing between the two guns and maybe the distance the bullet sits off the rifling. It would be nice to have one load for multiple guns, but I have found I end up having to tweak the loads a little for a particular gun in the collection.
  13. Yup, I hate Craigslist because all the spam mail and the scammers that use it. I tried it once to sell a dirt bike as well, needless to say, never again.
  14. XGO Gear makes some great base layer clothing. I wear it all the time, it's warm, flexible, and it isn't tight like Under Armour. They have plenty of styles and warmth levels to choose from.
  15. That is a good question. I have not figured out which profile I like better. They both feel a tad softer than the 115g and 124g. The 135g would probably be better for reliability and compatibility while the 147g would be better for steel plates and bowling pins.I honestly don't spend a lot of time on bullseye accuracy but both of these loads have no issues with 25 to 35 yard targets during a match and the SD I see over the chrono is less than 8. The only issue I see with moly coating is that it builds up in the chamber and around the barrel after a few hundred rounds. Thanks for the info, I'll try them both and see what my gun likes.
  16. If you had to chose between the 135 or the 147 BC bullets, which one do you like better? I think the 135 would be a good balance between the 124 and the 147, but I have not personally shot the 135, I would like to hear your opinion on them. Also, what kind of accuracy are you seeing out the coated bullets in your CZ?
  17. I emailed CGW about it when I noticed it with mine, they told me its normal with the extended firing pin. Mine still does it and it shoots great.
  18. I can't speak for the Shock Bottle's, but my SP base pads fit very well on my stock CZ 18 rounders and the Mec Gar 17's. I have no complaints about them yet. I do like the way that the SP pads make all my mags the same length.
  19. I have been pleased every time I have ordered from them. The shipping is pretty quick, no gripes from my end.
  20. I looked into buying the reamers, but in the end, I don't think it is worth it to own the tools. I sent it out to have the throat reamed since it was cheaper to have it done rather than buying the tools I would probably only use once. I mainly just don't want the constant battle to find a bullet that I could load out to normal lengths. The wait time to get the work done is not excessive, so that is not a huge problem for me to wait a little bit.
  21. My CZ does not like Bear Creek 125gr due to its profile you will have to load short anyway.I have shot thousand if BC 135gr, CZ likes it feeds better. Only way to find out is to try them with your gun and decide what works. I'm just going to get the throat reamed, that way I don't have any more trouble trying to load for this pistol, its not my only 9mm, so it would be nice to not change my reloading set up everytime I need bullets.
  22. I wish I knew, I'm in the process of looking for someone to do it. I sent an inquiry over to automatic accuracy, hopefully I'll hear something in a couple of days. I'm not even going to mess around with trying to find a bullet to fit the current throat, that will probably just get expensive and frustrating.
  23. Thanks you, who seems to be the recommended gunsmith to do this on the CZ's? I've tried searching for these questions but the answers I have found are real vague.
