I really like the size of the SJC magwell. I'm running Arredondo basepads and had to sand them down a bit to prevent the mags from failing to drop. Other than that, works like a dream.

Thanks everyone. Gave it a completely teardown, thorough cleaning and lube job. Have a new action spring on the way from Brownells, going to shoot it this week and if the malfunctions keep happening I'll replace it.

Make sure the punch you use is long enough to drift the pin out completely. If you have punches that are only an inch or so long before they get 'fatter', it might not be long enough. Also pay attention to how the springs are oriented.

Will the extended basepad that adds capacity put the factory mag over 140mm?

Which Dawson basepads are you guys using on your mags? The ones for the Para mags?

With increasing regularity, I'm getting a malfunction where a shell gets fed onto the lifter, but the lifer doesn't bring it up far enough for the bolt to strip it into the chamber (the lifter only brings it up halfway). A tap on the lifter from the loading port sends the gun into battery and fixes the malfunction. Thoughts on what is causing this? Magazine tube spring? Thanks!

I had similar problems with my 1100 when I got it. I doubled up the 'O' rings and never had that issue again.

I don't think the heavy stuff's gonna come down for awhile...

Just FYI, I had to dremel away some material on the inside of my JP magwell when I installed it. The magwell was pinching the frame enough to keep the mags from dropping free.

Greetings. I'm looking for a Safariland 014 for my Glock 24, however according to Safariland's website, it is only available for the Glock 34/35. Will the 24 fit in that model of the 014? Is there enough muzzle-end adjustment to allow the longer barrel to be secured? Thanks!

Who makes the Glock magwell with the largest magazine well opening? I'm currently running a JP, but I'm looking for something that has just a little bit larger of an opening. Thanks! Andy

My backordered DMS-2 finally arrived the other day. In short, I'm very impressed with it so far. Does anybody know if any of the MGM Switchviews (other than the universal) will work with this? The adjustment bell looks different than the DMS-1 so I don't think that particular Switchview will work.
