    Hope you Enjoy revolver division, been shooting over 20 years. I started shooting revolver two years ago. and I think it is the best most challenging division ever.

    None of my bbi bullets look like that,it loos like you have an issue with your seating die.

    Was that barrel for a 38 special, did you have to trim to fit, I have one but it is 38, Hant to have it put in my 627.

      Yes, it was a .38 Special. I had to chuck it up in a lathe and set it back to get the index right and then cut the barrel\cylinder gap and forcing cone. It's 8 oz lighter than my 929.

    What are most shooters using for target loads, don't want use my clays trying to save it for pistol shooting.

    Be careful of blowback around the primer,pitting the blast shield.

    I also like 3.0 clays with a 180 jacketed or 2.8 witn a coated at 1.135

    I used to shoot 40 minor, with a g35 and it was as soft shooting as my g34.

    2.8 clays and 180 gr. Bayou or 3.0 with a fmj worse well for me loaded at 1.135 in my g35

    I think it all depends on the shooter I am only a class shooter I have no problem going from revolver to glock or 1911. But that's just me

    It will move you to open division,my 617 is a 6" and was no muzzle flip,but by all means if porting is what you want go for it
