  1. For limited? Seems like your undergunned compared to a 2011 or something. I dunno.
  2. I want one. I used to have a page saved from here I believe where someone hot linked like 10 dealers that stock them and I don't know what Happened to it. Ughhh. I found a supplier with like 10 in stock but they are fortays.
  3. Smart wool or darn tough for everything. Once you go wool you'll never go back. Smart wool boxers too. You'll go poor buying those.
  4. Glock said it should just be cosmetic. No offer to replace anything. Seems to run fine so I'm not worried about it although it shouldn't have chipped like that IMO.
  5. No. Using the striker that comes with DKs full trigger kit.I was using the 4.5lb spring for a while. No light strikes. Trigger was 3.5lbs. I like the 4lb because it gets the trigger down to 3lbs and light strikes haven't been an issue really except that one. I have a case of Atlanta arms to go through so we will see.
  6. I have a 4.0lb spring with DKs striker and only had 1 light strike in a thousand rounds. 250-300 were Winchester white box and didn't have any light strikes. 250 or so we're federal. No light strikes. 500 Atlanta arms and that's where I had a light strike. You'll be fine with a lightened striker. Just keep it and the striker channel clean and change the striker spring every so often.
  7. Full size alpha with the aluminum/plastic frame? That's not too bad of a wait then. I'd probably wait for that then. What's holding me back from the compact is that it's a bit big and heavy for carry IMO. So it'd be a range/comp gun. But obviously the full size is better for that so it'll just come down to the individual priorities and what not.
  8. It's pretty small. The trigger in DA is really heavy too. And when I shot one it seemed to have a decent amount of more flip then my g34 shooting them back to back with the same ammo. I like them a lot and really want one, but I think a full size once they come out would be a much better option. If the trigger and recoil spring can be tweaked then the compact might be feasible.
  9. Who sells these things? Are they unicorns? I kind of want to try one.
  10. Stock II or accu-shadow. Maybe one of the Sphinx production guns when they come out. Won't cost as much but if you like striker guns then a 34 with a DK trigger, sights, steel guide rod, and base pads is my favorite setup. Could do a barrel too. Basically a $1200 Glock.
  11. only the frame is registered. I have many Glocks with mismatched uppers and lowers.. Is that USPSA production legal?
  12. I sent it to them but don't know if they would send me a new slide since it's stamped with a serial number. Don't know how that works.
  13. I came across this video. Holy crap, I think I like this. What do you guys think? The entire kit with the reset trigger system, laser, and 3 targets is about $550 bucks. The vid will explain it all. https://youtu.be/J95pLF5dRvk
  14. I think this is a little better. Maybe
  15. Is this normal? I was doing a detail clean today and noticed this chipping. Sorry for the terrible pictures but should give a good enough idea of what's going on.
  16. I have a regular DK kit but it's amazing and I would not hesitate to get his defensive kit for something, which I'm going to do since I like the regular kit so much.
  17. But where are the cases of people being prosecuted for modified triggers? Not being an ass but everyone brings this up yet I don't know of one single case that sets precedent for this belief.
  18. The MSA sordin supreme pro x with gel ear cups seem to be the best you can get. The Howard leight Impact pros do not create a good deal for me and are loud. The best pair I've used are like $30 Brownings that create a great deal and block a ton of sound. Problem is they are passive and kind of uncomfortable because they are very tight. Trying to convince myself to buy the sordins and some rudys or oakleys to have the best eye/ear combo I can get.
  19. Spray with Mpro 7 cleaner all over. Has surfactants that bring up the carbon. Wipe what you can. Hose off with gun scrubber. Oil. Done. I do this with any gun really. Quickest and cleanest way to get it done.
  20. I agree with everything said about the DK. A glock trigger can't get better. No pre travel. No over travel and a short reset because of that reduced over travel. And as light as you can get it and still set off primers. My gen 4 is right at 3lbs with the 4lb striker spring and I have not had a single light primer strike. I do have their striker and I keep the channel clean.

    P09 trigger

Fast and efficient I am not lol.
  23. Steel pins aren't legal. I have a DK custom trigger kit that is USPSA prod legal but not IDPA because it has a steel trigger pin and pre-travel adjustment. He makes an IDPA legal trigger that has those 2 items removed.
  24. Damn KAP is local to me too. I was going to take a trip there the other day to check them out because they are listed as the local Sphinx dealer. I should have gone. Could have walked out with a DVC. O well.

    P09 trigger

When the p09 is in single action do you have pre-travel with every shot? So say you fire, then reset the trigger, are you right at the wall or do you have to pull through some pre-travel before getting to the wall?
