  1. SNS 9mm 147 grain flat points and their 230 grain round nose.
  2. I also see the finer granulars in my Dillion powder measure but my loads chrono very consistent. I've shot just at 1000 rounds with this powder and I must say it's the cleanest burning powder I've ever used. Especially for 9mm minor.
  3. Humm, I'll check it out. Thanks
  4. Received my .357 sized 147 flat points from SNS today. Will post my findings after I get some loaded up.
  5. What mag is that? The basepads Crispin1025 do work very nice. Thanks Crispin! I'll have to look at the followers. Thanks!

They all shoot straighter than I can hold them. ?
  7. I hear Precision has a Gen 2 coating now. My favorite Limited .40 load was the Precision 185's under 4.8 gr WST. Good info on the Sig. SNS is sending me some 147 Flat Points sized at .357. You think I should drop my powder charge by .3-.4 grain from the .356 bullets to start? Using Prima V now. Similar to Titegroup as far as powder charge. Thanks
  8. Ordered two. Going to give them a try. Plus 5 will be nice. ?
  9. Running short on time this morning. So could you post a link to this exact basepad please. Good info! Thanks
  10. Yes. Was pretty simple once I started.
  11. I just found a Kit online and ordered one. Thanks
  12. Don't know the barrel slug. .356 dia. Bullets. Whats the best thing to use or does someone make a 9mm kit? Ive thought about just ordering some .357 bullets to try.
  13. Let me start out by saying I've shot well over 100,000 coated bullets the last several years in 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP. I love them, but out of my 226's and 320 9mm I get leading more so than other manufacturers barrels. Not crazy bad but the old "Jarhead" in me can't stand my gun barrels not being spotless hours after my trip to the range. So kind of a pain in the ass. Didn't have this in .40. Some in .45 when I used Bullseye but went away when I switch to Ramshot Competiton. Powder doesn't seem to make that much of a difference. Although it's slightly worse with Titegroup. WST is better but still there. Starting using Prima V and still got some. (On a side note Prima V is a great 9mm minor powder) I've got plenty of bell on the case and use a light crimp. I've pulled several bullets and sometimes can't even see a crimp line in the bullets. (147 Flat Points) My thought is it's just Sig barrels. Very accurate but grabs a little lead. Anyone else experience this?
  14. 3.4 gr Prima V under a 147 xtreme @ 1.135 average 891 fps out of a P226 with 4.9" threaded barrel. Very nice recoil impulse. Not as snappy as Titegroup but not mushy either. Reminds me of a .45 recoil. When im finished loading the xtreme's I'll load up some SNS 147 FP's.

    SIG Legion Series

The Legion SAO has turned out to be my favorite handgun of all time. And I've shot a lot of pistols the last 30 years. I grew up on and trained with a 1911 so the SAO feels right at home. Mine came with a 3.5-3.7lb trigger out of the box. It was great! I'm still impressed with the reset. Since I can't shoot it in Production I've shot it Limited minor and currently shooting Open minor with a MK25 RX top. I've polished up the trigger components and put a 19lb Wolff hammer spring in. It's now Perfect for a competition trigger for my taste. On a side note I could shoot circles around my Custom SP-01 Shadow with a stock Legion SAO. And one friend has already purchased a Legion SAO and another has ordered one after shooting mine. My two cents
  16. Just started using Prima V. I like it so far. Burns cooler than Titegroup and cleaner than WST for 9mm minor. My initial chrono showed the Prima V took .1 grain less than Titegroup for the same power factor with 147's. it is a high volume power for sure. No way to double charge. Will post more technical data at a later date.
  17. Guess I'll try one when ever I pick up a 320 RX. ?
  18. Never tried a Tungsten in a 320. I hated the tungsten in the 226 Legion SAO/MK25 RX "FrankinSig" I've been shooting with the Romeo. The solid steel guiderod is good. But I've actually found a stock hollow guide rod works best for me in that gun along with a 13lb Wolff 226 variable recoil spring. Keeps the dot steadier than any other combation I've tried. Guess my recoil management is better than my muzzle dip management.
  19. You running a stock guide rod or a solid one?
  20. Guess I'm behind. I didn't think the Target grips were going to work on the P320. Heard it had a different FCU. ???
