I bought two Sigs to make this gun. Legion SAO and a MK25RX. But,...SIG has the P226RX SAO on their price list now. Put some Hogue G-10 grips (SRT kit if needed) and a flat trigger if that's what you want and your ready. Buy a threaded barrel and PM a member on this forum and you have what I have. I did do some polishing of trigger component parts and put in a 17/19# hammer spring in. Not much difference in the two so I stayed with the 19#. I like a 3 to 3 1/2 lb trigger. So you a Red Patcher?

Going to start with what I have powder wise. Prima V and WST. I really like Prima V because it seems to burn completely and very, very clean. Will be a work in progress. Even with a Major compensator I could tell a difference with Titegroup loads. That's a minor Comp. Getting 12,000 SNS 125 grain bullets this weekend. ? So will have a lot to play with. I've found that I like the .357 diameter coated bullets in my Sigs. Leaves the barrels like a mirror.

With the help of another member of this forum I was able to upgrade my "Open" minor SIG. Haven't shot it with the compensator yet. But excited to do so! ? Done well with it last year without one. So hoping for very little dot movement.
  4. Lots of good info here Marine.
  5. Medium grip module for me. Large size hands.
  6. Call or email Springer Precision.
  7. I'm hopping that since the P320 X5 is Romeo 1 ready that enough people will complain about the Brightness and they come up with a Gen2 upgrade that's brighter. High hopes I guess.
  8. I know for a fact that at least the last 5 years SIG uses Check-Mate mags for their 1911's. Can't say before that. Inside information. ? That at being said, the Tripp Research mags are my favorite 1911 mags.
  9. As far as I've known SIG will not sell just a slide. Would have to buy a conversion kit. At that point I'd just buy another pistol.
  10. I've shot SNS for a couple years now. At least 50,000 bullets in 9mm and .45. They make a great product and put back a lot into our sport. Awesome customer service as well. I give them a call and they make my 9mm @ .357 diameter bullets I use in my Sigs usually within a week. No complaints at all. ?

    P320 X5 Thread

I'm really curious about the grip and how it feels in the hand. Will be hard to beat the 226 Legion SAO grip. I'm very glad they have the optional weight for the X-grip. I always thought the full size 320 was not balanced very well. Unlike the compact 320.
  12. I've switched to Prima V as well. Very clean and runs cool like you said. I haven't done any accuracy test as of yet. But it his the "A" zone. ?

    P320 X5 Thread

I meant so one could replace base pads on mags we already have. Thanks for pointing that out. ? But like you said they should make it available with the 17 rounds mags.

    P320 X5 Thread

Cool. Good to know. They should include at least four of the 17 round basepads in the box.

    P320 X5 Thread

The 320 X5 info is spread over a couple threads. You guys mind starting a new thread just for X5 info? I'll start, so my understanding is that the X5 comes with four 21 rounds mags that will be legal for Carry Optics but not for Production? And will the current 17 round mags fit in the new grip or do they need different basepads?
  16. Way cool! Wonder if it's all sizes or just one. The "Carry" size would have been my pick.
  17. I hope Bladetech or other holster manufacture will get on the ball for this model.
  18. Hope it's balanced and weighs more than the full size P320.

    P320 RX

    Right around seven months.

    P320 RX

I've got over 10,000 rounds on my Romeo 1 with the same battery.
  21. I use magnum small pistol primers sometime myself. I can't tell any difference.
  22. It's all about the "Bling"! ?
  23. Ahhhh! I meant the Romeo 3. I want a brighter sight for next year on FrankinSig. Sorry. But good info otherwise.
  24. Another vote for Prima V here. My new favorite 9mm minor powder. Then WST, N320, Bullseye, then Titegroup.
  25. Those Factory P6 mags are hard to find. One of the reasons I didn't buy one, The other was the trigger guard. I like the bigger guard on the new one because of my trigger finger placement.
