  1. Wassup with that remark You should be fine with your gps mount, dark tinted windows are another story Barry I was kidding about the tinted windows. I'm just trying to lessen the chance of being stopped. Don't want the dog after me either. Thanks Gary
  2. Tell me more about what that's about. One of the guys who I squaded w/ at Area1 had a Rhat Rhat boys shirt on, but I didn't ask him much about it. I'm gonna be going home next week! ~Mitch A great bunch of guys putting on IPSC type matches on Ohau. Rhat Rhat Boyz They shoot at the same place MPPL shoots. They are also a great bunch of guys I just won't be there that long to shoot their match too. Gary
  3. The tags will be Hawaii and I suppose I can ask for really dark tinted windows. Guess I'll find out as I'm driving to the Rhat Rhat Boyz match Sunday morning. Gary
  4. Doe's anyone know if there are any laws against attaching a GPS via suction cup to a vehicle windshield in Honolulu, HI ??? I'm gonna be visiting several different places and just wanted to know in advance if I should bring that mount with me. Thanks, Gary
  5. I've had one on an open gun for 10 years now without a problem other than the scope mount broke. But that's the key element too, "the scope mount". My scope mount was made by Noel Alfaro which held the scope by the front tube only. It was machined out of delrin which absorbs much of the recoil. I think that's why the scope still works so well. I had other Tasco Pro Points on different guns with aluminum mounts and those scopes and mounts all broke. When my mount broke I didn't think I could find another Alfaro mount so I set up a c-more slide ride to put on it. Then at the last minute a friend (thanks Ron) came through with a hideous looking white Alfaro mount which I promptly put on. If this mount should break I'll put the c-more on, but not until then. (unless I can bribe Noel to make me another one) Gary
  6. I think that backwards scope is supposed to go on this rifle.
  7. She's gonna be a top contender but is it okay for french women to sweep themselves on the unload and show clear command? 2.03 into it I just happened to notice that. Still a good video. Gary
  8. Yep. See this thread and the pictures. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...ic=56656&hl=
  9. Looks like you should check the bullet diameter, chronograph your loads, and if that's okay you need a new barrel. Gary
  10. Does that mean we don't have to worry about this now??? "i'll probably just work the match...so count on my stage being a bit@h..." Gary
  11. Typically 9mm FMJ's are .355 and lead are .356. Gary
  12. Got mine last week and my wife's came yesterday. I like the new format too. Gary
  13. Wrong tool. If you want to do slide work on your Glocks, you need a hammer. The nice thing about the Dremel is the time it saves you. Things that used to take hours to screw up using files and stones can be totally trashed in mere minutes with a Dremel. Probably the greatest benefit of the Dremel tool is to provide a steady source of income for gunsmiths and parts suppliers----straightening out the screw-ups. What are you wanting to do slide work on?? Bill That's what my gunsmith told me too. He just loves it when people get Dremel's. Gary
  14. How about here. http://www.honolulurhatrhatboyz.com/index....ge&Itemid=1 It'll be warm there and maybe wet too. G
  15. Been there, done that.... I would never put mine in a hole like that one though. Body damage is not my friend. I'd really like to go back again.
  16. I like her thinking... Minor score for penalty targets... Gary
  17. My old Sears opener has a keypad remote that's mounted to the wall outside of the garage. Were they (Sears) way ahead of their time??? I've done the run jump/duck thing before too... No fun when you don't get the jump/duck thing just right. Gary
  18. I had that problem with my M2 that had a red anodized follower. I put the stock plastic follower back in and the problem went away. Gary
  19. The closest I've gotten to having a red dot on my limited is with a red fiber optic. Just have to melt the end of the rod so it mushrooms out real big. I've been very happy with that setup. I did have problems when the fiber optic fell out though. It was like the battery went dead on a scope. Gary
  20. If you're only going to load .243 on the 450 don't convert it. Just get the automatic powder drop conversion for it and you're good to go. If you want to change calibers a lot then it would be practical, otherwise it's not. Been there done that. Gary
  21. Try cutting a couple coils off the recoil spring. I had to do that to one of mine even though it has an JP adjustable gas block. Gary
  22. I shot a 5" comped 45 for years with 200 grain SWC's. I still have some of those bullets and they still work great. I tried 155 LSWC's but didn't like them as they were a little too snappy for me. Had leading problems with the 155's but not the 200's. They were in the 180 to 185 power factor range. You do have to clean out the comp every couple months though. Try em', you'll like em'. G
